In occasione del "Festival Chitarristico Internazionale 2025", il Conservatorio Agostino Steffani propone una serie di concerti per gli allievi del Conservatorio e anche per gli uditori esterni.
La serata sarà a opera di Ismo Eskelinen, chitarrista finlandese.
Nato a Kuopio, ha studiato alla Filarmonica di Berlino, la Royal Festival Hall, il Concertgebouw di Amsterdam, il Theatre de la Monnaie, la Finlandia Hall e la Siberius Hall. Ha vinto numerosi premi, quali lo Scandinavian Guitar Competition, il Premio Gargano, il Leo Brouwer Prize, la Guitar Foundation of America e il Printemps de la Guitare.
Ha suonato in molti concerti da solitsta a livello internazionale e la sua produzione musicale vede, come sue opere maggiori, "Bach Eskelinen", dove ha vinto l'Emma Award, "Paganini Duos", registrato con il violinista Pekka Kuusisto e "Kromos", dove sono contenuti alcuni suoi lavori da solista.
On the occasion of the "International Guitar Festival 2025," the Agostino Steffani Conservatory proposes a series of concerts for the students of the Conservatory and also for external listeners.
The evening will feature Ismo Eskelinen, a Finnish guitarist.
Born in Kuopio, he studied at the Berlin Philharmonic, the Royal Festival Hall, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Theatre de la Monnaie, the Finlandia Hall, and the Sibelius Hall. He has won numerous awards, such as the Scandinavian Guitar Competition, the Gargano Prize, the Leo Brouwer Prize, the Guitar Foundation of America, and the Printemps de la Guitare.
He has performed in many international solo concerts and his musical production includes, as his major works, "Bach Eskelinen," for which he won the Emma Award, "Paganini Duos," recorded with violinist Pekka Kuusisto, and "Kromos," which contains some of his solo works.
Anlässlich des "Internationalen Gitarrenfestivals 2025" präsentiert das Konservatorium Agostino Steffani eine Reihe von Konzerten für die Schüler des Konservatoriums sowie für externe Zuhörer.
