Gheno è sociolinguista e traduttrice dall'ungherese, ha collaborato per vent'anni con l'Accademia della Crusca. Da fine 2021 è ricercatrice a tempo determinato all'Università di Firenze. E' autrice di articoli scientifici e divulgativi e di 15 monografie e di diversi libri, l'ultimo dei quali è “Genere”. Si occupa prevalentemente di comunicazione digitale, questioni di genere, diversità, equità e inclusione. Conduce, per “Il Post”, il podcast “Amare parole”.

Gheno is a sociolinguist and translator from Hungarian, having collaborated for twenty years with the Accademia della Crusca. Since late 2021, she has been a fixed-term researcher at the University of Florence. She is the author of scientific and popular articles and 15 monographs as well as several books, the latest of which is “Gender”. She primarily focuses on digital communication, gender issues, diversity, equity, and inclusion. She hosts the podcast “Love words” for “Il Post”.

Gheno ist Soziolinguistin und Übersetzerin aus dem Ungarischen, sie hat zwanzig Jahre lang mit der Accademia della Crusca zusammengearbeitet. Seit Ende 2021 ist sie befristete Forscherin an der Universität Florenz. Sie ist Autorin von wissenschaftlichen und populärwissenschaftlichen Artikeln sowie von 15 Monografien und mehreren Büchern, das neueste davon ist “Geschlecht”. Sie beschäftigt sich hauptsächlich mit digitaler Kommunikation, Geschlechterfragen, Diversität, Gerechtigkeit und Inklusion. Sie leitet für “Il Post” den Podcast “Amare parole”.
