Un’occasione speciale per scoprire da vicino il passato più antico del territorio tra Caorle e Bibione.
Venerdì 3 luglio il sito archeologico della cosiddetta “villa della Brussa”, in località Are di Brussa, aprirà eccezionalmente al pubblico nell’ambito del progetto “NAPA – NAvigare nel PAssato. Alle foci dell’antico Tagliamento”, promosso dal Dipartimento dei Beni Culturali dell’Università degli Studi di Padova in collaborazione con il Comune di Caorle, con la supervisione della Soprintendenza Archeologia Belle Arti e Paesaggio per la città metropolitana di Venezia.
Durante l’Open Day sarà possibile assistere alle attività di scavo archeologico in corso e osservare da vicino strutture e reperti emersi dalle indagini, guidati dagli archeologi e dai ricercatori impegnati nel progetto. L’iniziativa permetterà di approfondire la conoscenza di questo importante sito di epoca romana, situato nei pressi dell’antica foce del Tiliaventum Maius, citato già da Plinio il Vecchio nel I secolo d.C.
Le visite si svolgeranno in due turni, alle ore 10.00 e alle ore 16.00, con un massimo di 25 partecipanti per ciascun gruppo.

A special occasion to discover the ancient past of the area between Caorle and Bibione up close.
On Friday, July 3rd, the archaeological site of the so-called "villa della Brussa," in the Are di Brussa locality, will exceptionally open to the public as part of the project "NAPA – NAvigate in the PAst. At the mouths of the ancient Tagliamento", promoted by the Department of Cultural Heritage of the University of Padua in collaboration with the Municipality of Caorle, under the supervision of the Archaeological Superintendency of Fine Arts and Landscape for the metropolitan city of Venice.
During the Open Day, it will be possible to observe ongoing archaeological excavation activities and view closely the structures and artifacts that have emerged from the investigations, guided by the archaeologists and researchers involved in the project. The initiative will allow for a deeper understanding of this important Roman site, located near the ancient mouth of Tiliaventum Maius, already mentioned by Pliny the Elder in the 1st century A.D.
The visits will take place in two shifts, at 10.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m., with a maximum of 25 participants for each group.

Eine besondere Gelegenheit, die älteste Vergangenheit des Gebiets zwischen Caorle und Bibione hautnah zu entdecken.
Am Freitag, den 3. Juli, wird die archäologische Stätte der sogenannten „Villa della Brussa“ in der Ortschaft Are di Brussa im Rahmen des Projekts „NAPA – NAvigare nel PAssato. An den Ufern des alten Tagliamento“, das vom Departement für Kulturgüter der Universität Padua in Zusammenarbeit mit der Gemeinde Caorle, unter der Aufsicht der Archäologischen Denkmalschutzbehörde für die Metropolitanstadt Venedig, gefördert wird, außergewöhnlich für die Öffentlichkeit geöffnet.
Während des Open Days wird es möglich sein, den laufenden archäologischen Ausgrabungen beizuwohnen und hautnah die Strukturen und Funde, die aus den Untersuchungen hervorgegangen sind, zu beobachten, geleitet von den Archäologen und Forschern, die in das Projekt involviert sind. Die Initiative wird es ermöglichen, das Wissen über diese wichtige römische Stätte, die in der Nähe der antiken Mündung des Tiliaventum Maius liegt und bereits von Plinius dem Älteren im 1. Jahrhundert n.Chr. erwähnt wurde, zu vertiefen.
Die Besichtigungen werden in zwei Gruppen stattfinden, um 10.00 Uhr und um 4.00 p.m., mit maximal 25 Teilnehmern pro Gruppe.
