Il Caorle Independent Film Festival (CIFF), ormai giunto alla sua ottava edizione, è un evento culturale che si tiene annualmente nella splendida città di Caorle, la piccola Venezia.
Il Festival nasce dall’iniziativa dell’Associazione Caorle Film con l’obiettivo di creare un evento internazionale dedicato ai cineasti di ogni parte del mondo e per valorizzare proprio quella nicchia di artisti che creano e producono le loro opere senza l'aiuto di una grande casa di produzione: il cinema indipendente.
Il Festival si distingue per il suo ambiente accogliente e familiare, pensato per offrire un’esperienza unica sia ai partecipanti che ai visitatori.
Le 75 opere selezionate, suddivise tra lungometraggi, cortometraggi, documentari, web serie, episodi pilota e film di animazione saranno proiettate nelle sale del Centro Culturale Andrea Bafile, nel centro storico di Caorle, appositamente trasformate in sale proiezione.
Uno degli aspetti fondamentali della manifestazione è la sua dimensione culturale, che permette di esplorare e immergersi in una vasta gamma di realtà raccontate attraverso il linguaggio cinematografico. Grazie alla selezione di opere provenienti da tutto il mondo, il pubblico ha l’opportunità di scoprire non solo storie e tradizioni di Paesi diversi, ma anche il talento e l’inventiva degli autori che contribuiscono alla ricchezza artistica dell’evento.
Negli anni il Festival si è affermato come un luogo di incontro e di scambio culturale, oltre a rappresentare una piattaforma in cui vengono portate alla luce narrazioni, visioni e sensibilità artistiche provenienti da contesti differenti. Oltre alla fiction, il festival pone un’attenzione particolare a tematiche di grande rilevanza sociale, come l’identità e la parità di genere, il bullismo, le malattie degenerative, la lotta contro ogni forma di discriminazione e odio razziale, nonché la tutela dell’ambiente e la memoria storica.
Il CIFF è strutturato in modo da porre sempre al primo posto tutti i partecipanti in gara in un ambiente festivaliero dal sapore internazionale. Anche gli stessi visitatori, oltre a poter assistere gratuitamente a tutte le proiezioni, diventano parte integrante del festival partecipando attivamente alle attività collaterali.
The Caorle Independent Film Festival (CIFF), now in its eighth edition, is a cultural event held annually in the beautiful town of Caorle, the little Venice.
The Festival was born from the initiative of the Caorle Film Association with the aim of creating an international event dedicated to filmmakers from all over the world and to enhance that niche of artists who create and produce their works without the help of a major production company: independent cinema.
The Festival stands out for its welcoming and family-friendly atmosphere, designed to offer a unique experience for both participants and visitors.
The 75 works selected, divided between feature films, short films, documentaries, web series, pilot episodes, and animated films, will be screened in the halls of the Centro Culturale Andrea Bafile, located in the historic center of Caorle, specially transformed into screening rooms.
One of the fundamental aspects of the event is its cultural dimension, which allows for exploration and immersion in a wide range of realities told through cinematic language. Thanks to the selection of works from around the world, the audience has the opportunity to discover not only stories and traditions from different countries but also the talent and creativity of the authors contributing to the artistic richness of the event.
Over the years, the Festival has established itself as a meeting place for cultural exchange, as well as a platform where narratives, visions, and artistic sensitivities from different contexts are brought to light. In addition to fiction, the festival pays particular attention to issues of great social relevance, such as identity and gender equality, bullying, degenerative diseases, the fight against all forms of discrimination and racial hatred, as well as environmental protection and historical memory.
The CIFF is structured to always prioritize all participating competitors in a festival environment with an international flavor. Even the visitors themselves, besides being able to attend all screenings for free, become an integral part of the festival by actively participating in the collateral activities.
Das Caorle Independent Film Festival (CIFF), jetzt in seiner achten Ausgabe, ist eine kulturelle Veranstaltung, die jährlich in der wunderschönen Stadt Caorle, dem kleinen Venedig, stattfindet.
Das Festival wurde von der Caorle Film Vereinigung ins Leben gerufen, um ein internationales Event für Filmemacher aus der ganzen Welt zu schaffen und um genau die Nische von Künstlern zu fördern, die ihre Werke ohne die Hilfe eines großen Produktionshauses schaffen und produzieren: das unabhängige Kino.
Das Festival zeichnet sich durch sein einladendes und familiäres Ambiente aus, das darauf abzielt, sowohl den Teilnehmern als auch den Besuchern ein einzigartiges Erlebnis zu bieten.
Die 75 ausgewählten Werke, unterteilt in Spielfilme, Kurzfilme, Dokumentarfilme, Webserien, Pilotepisoden und Animationsfilme, werden in den Kinos des Centro Culturale Andrea Bafile, im historischen Zentrum von Caorle, gezeigt, die speziell in Vorführsäle umgewandelt wurden.
Ein grundlegender Aspekt der Veranstaltung ist ihr kultureller Charakter, der es ermöglicht, eine reiche Palette von Realitäten zu erkunden und in diese einzutauchen, erzählt durch die Filmsprache. Dank der Auswahl von Werken aus der ganzen Welt hat das Publikum die Möglichkeit, nicht nur Geschichten und Traditionen unterschiedlichster Länder zu entdecken, sondern auch das Talent und die Kreativität der Autoren, die zur künstlerischen Vielfalt des Events beitragen.
Im Laufe der Jahre hat sich das Festival als ein Treffpunkt für kulturellen Austausch etabliert und dient als Plattform, um Erzählungen, Visionen und künstlerische Sensibilitäten aus unterschiedlichen Kontexten ans Licht zu bringen. Neben der Fiktion legt das Festival besonderen Wert auf gesellschaftlich relevante Themen, wie Identität und Geschlechtergleichheit, Mobbing, degenerative Krankheiten, den Kampf gegen jede Form von Diskriminierung und Rassismus sowie den Schutz der Umwelt und das historische Gedächtnis.
Das CIFF ist so strukturiert, dass immer alle Teilnehmer in einem festivaltypischen, internationalen Flair im Vordergrund stehen. Auch die Besucher selbst, die kostenlos an allen Vorführungen teilnehmen können, werden Teil des Festivals, indem sie aktiv an den begleitenden Aktivitäten teilnehmen.
