La Vigilia di Natale si può stare svegli a leggere finché si vuole.
Quando gli occhi ancora aperti in questa lunga notte iniziano a sognare, le figure dei libri e le parole delle leggende si animano nel buio della cameretta e allora Il bosco coperto di neve può fiorire sotto le stelle, gli animali riunirsi in una festa per il ritorno della luce, e il Tomte raccontare la meraviglia della rinascita della natura intorno a loro.
È questo che accade nella cameretta di Lou mentre la notte della vigilia prende vita sul suo tappeto dei giochi che tra libri, figure, lenzuola e cuscini si trasforma nel bosco delle storie di Natale.

A show freely inspired by the tales of Selma Lagerlöf.
On Christmas Eve, one can stay awake reading as long as they want.
When the eyes still open in this long night begin to dream, the figures of books and the words of legends come to life in the dark of the little room, and then the snow-covered forest can bloom under the stars, the animals gather for a celebration of the return of light, and the Tomte tells the wonder of nature's rebirth around them.
This is what happens in Lou's little room as the night of the vigil comes alive on her play rug that transforms among books, figures, sheets, and pillows into the forest of Christmas stories.

Am Heiligabend kann man solange aufbleiben und lesen, wie man möchte.
Wenn die noch offenen Augen in dieser langen Nacht zu träumen beginnen, erwecken die Figuren aus den Büchern und die Worte der Legenden im Dunkel des Kinderzimmers zum Leben, und dann kann der mit Schnee bedeckte Wald unter den Sternen erblühen, die Tiere können sich zu einem Fest versammeln, um das Licht zurückzukehren zu feiern, und der Tomte erzählt von dem Wunder der Wiedergeburt der Natur um sie herum.
Das geschieht im Kinderzimmer von Lou, während die Heiligabendnacht auf ihrem Spielteppich lebendig wird, der zwischen Büchern, Figuren, Bettwäsche und Kissen sich in den Wald der Weihnachtsgeschichten verwandelt.
