Venerdì 11 luglio avrà luogo la tradizionale festa parrocchiale dell'Ondes de Luj.
Essa commemora il voto fatto dalla popolazione nel 1836 per chiedere aiuto alla Madonna contro un'epidemia di colera proveniente dall'India e che in poco tempo causò numerose vittime.
La bellissima statua in legno della madonna Assunta viene condotta in processione attraverso sentieri tra olivi e splendidi borghi.
Alle ore 6.00 ci sarà la prima messa nella chiesa parrocchiale di Castello, poi inizierà il pellegrinaggio attraverso i paesi, con arrivo ad Assenza alle ore 8.00, dove nella chiesa di San Nicola ci sarà una seconda messa. Il pellegrinaggio proseguirà sino ad arrivare nuovamente a Castello, dove si concluderà alle ore 10.30 con la solenne Santa Messa.
La sera, a partire dalle ore 19.00, presso il Campo sportivo di Castello ci sarà l'apertura di stand gastronomici con tipiche pietanze locali, spaghetti con le agole, polenta e pesce di lago preparati secondo le ricette tradizionali e ad accompagnare tanta musica dal vivo.
Alle ore 21.00 esibizione della Banda di Castelletto.
Alle ore 23.00 ci sarà l'estrazione a premi della lotteria e la serata si concluderà con la musica con DJ.
On Friday, the 11th of July, the traditional "Ondes de Luj" festival will take place in Brenzone sul Garda.
It commemorates the vote made by the population in 1836 to ask the Madonna for help against a cholera epidemic that came from India and which quickly caused numerous victims.
The beautiful wooden statue of the Madonna Assunta is led in procession through paths between olive trees and splendid villages.
At 6.00 am there will be the first mass in the parish church of Castello, then the pilgrimage will begin through the villages, arriving in Assenza, where at 8.00, in the medieval church of San Nicola there will be the second mass. The pilgrimage will continue until reaching Castello again where it will end at 10.30 am with the solemn Holy Mass.
In the evening, from 7.00pm, at the sports field of Castello there will be the opening of the food stands with typical local dishes, spaghetti with agole, polenta and fish of lake preparated according to traditional recipes and accompanied by lots of live music.
At 9pm performance by the Castelletto band.
At 11pm there will be a lottery prize draw and the evening will end with DJ music.
Am Freitag, den 11. Juli , findet in Brenzone sul Garda das traditionelle Festival Ondes de Luj.
Es erinnert an das Votum der Bevölkerung im Jahr 1836, die Madonna um Hife gegen einen von Indien ausgehende Cholera-Epidemie zu bitten, die schnell zahlreiche Opfer forderte.
Die wünderschöne Holzstatue der Madonna Assunta wird in einer Prozession durch Wege zwischen Olivenbäumen und prächtigen Dörfern geführt.
Um 6 Uhr findet die erste Messe in der Pfarrkirche von Castello statt. Anschliessend begintt die Wallfahrt durch die Dörfer und erreicht Assenza, wo um 8 Uhr die zweite Messe in der mittelalterlichen Kirche San Nicola stattfinden. Die Wallfahrt geht weiter bis nach Castello, wo sie um 10.30 Uhr mit der feierlichen Heiligen Messe endet.
Abends ab 19 Uhr auf dem Sportplatz im Castello stattfindet die Eröffnung der Imbissstände mit typischen lokalen Gerichten, Spaghetti mit Agole, Polenta und Fisch aus dem See, zubereitet nach traditionellen Rezepten und begleitet von viel Live-Musik.
Um 21 Uhr Auftritt der Castelletto Band.
Um 23 Uhr findet eine Verlosung statt und der Abend endet mit DJ-Musik.
