Le fantasie del leggendario cavaliere “Don Chisciotte de la Mancia” di Miguel de Cervantes prendono vita nell’originale restituzione di Franco Antolini “El Cavalier de la trista figura”, alternando sul palcoscenico la narrazione allegra, spassosa, divertente delle gesta del protagonista e l’interpretazione del personaggio stesso che, esprimendosi in uno spagnolo maccheronico, è reso bizzarro, grottesco e di sicura efficacia comica.
Il pubblico è nello stesso tempo spettatore e protagonista della vicenda e viene più volte direttamente coinvolto nell’azione scenica, sino ad assumere, nell’evolversi del racconto, ruolo di partecipazione attiva.
Un avvicendarsi continuo tra la farsa e il dramma, tra il ridicolo e il tragico, tra la fantasia e la realtà, nel tentativo di parlare dell’esistenza umana, dei suoi comportamenti, dei suoi limiti, delle sue fragilità.

The fantasies of the legendary knight “Don Quixote de la Mancha” by Miguel de Cervantes come to life in Franco Antolini’s original rendition “El Cavalier de la trista figura”, alternating on stage the cheerful, fun, and entertaining narration of the protagonist’s exploits with the interpretation of the character himself, who, expressing himself in a macaronic Spanish, is made bizarre, grotesque, and certainly comically effective.
The audience is at the same time a spectator and a protagonist of the story and is repeatedly directly involved in the scenic action, ultimately assuming a role of active participation as the tale evolves.
A continuous succession between farce and drama, between the ridiculous and the tragic, between fantasy and reality, in the attempt to speak of human existence, its behaviors, its limits, its fragilities.

Die Fantasien des legendären Ritters „Don Quijote de la Mancha“ von Miguel de Cervantes erwachen zum Leben in der originalen Wiedergabe von Franco Antolini „El Cavalier de la trista figura“, die auf der Bühne die heitere, amüsante Erzählung der Taten des Protagonisten mit der Interpretation der Figur selbst wechselt, die sich in einem makaronischen Spanisch ausdrückt und dadurch bizarr, grotesk und von sicherer komischer Wirkung wird.
Das Publikum ist gleichzeitig Zuschauer und Protagonist der Geschichte und wird mehrmals direkt in die szenische Aktion einbezogen, bis es im Verlauf des Erzählens eine aktive Rolle der Teilnahme einnimmt.
Ein ständiges Wechselspiel zwischen Farce und Drama, zwischen dem Lächerlichen und dem Tragischen, zwischen Fantasie und Realität, im Versuch, über das menschliche Dasein, sein Verhalten, seine Grenzen und seine Zerbrechlichkeiten zu sprechen.
