Il film racconta la storia intrecciata di due coppie: i trentenni Lea e Andrea e i cinquantenni Rocco e Cecilia. Una sera Lea incontra Rocco in un bar e inizia con lui una relazione clandestina, apparentemente un tradimento come tanti, che però si complica quando lei comincia a insinuarsi nella sua vita e coinvolge i rispettivi partner in una resa dei conti emotiva e drammatica.
