Il Palazzo è del XVII secolo e si trova in cima all’antica via Karera. Si dice che in questa dimora venne ospitato per alcuni giorni Pietro Fortunato Calvi, noto eroe del Risorgimento italiano, dopo il fallimento della rivoluzione del 1848-1849 in Cadore. All’interno sono presenti numerosi affreschi e ampi saloni. Il palazzo è arricchito da un bel giardino panoramico che guarda la catena prealpina.
The Palazzo dates back to the 17th century and is located at the top end of the ancient via Karera. Legend has it that Pietro Fortunato Calvi, the well-known hero of the Italian Risorgimento, stayed here for a couple of days after being defeated in the 1848-1849 revolution in Cadore. The interior is decorated with a large number of frescoes and the rooms are spacious. The Palazzo has a beautiful panoramic garden which overlooks the Prealps.
