Il Palazzo Guarnieri si prospetta sulla piazza con una facciata marcatamente orizzontale. All’interno si apre un grande cortile affacciato verso la campagna che presenta un portico ad archi. Nel giardino vi sono elementi in pietra scolpiti, un pozzo e un portone monumentale. Le stanze interne e l’ampio salone al primo piano presentano pareti decorate ad affresco, soffitti a cassettoni e pavimenti “alla veneziana”. La corte interna ospita numerosi eventi, quali concerti e rappresentazioni teatrali, ma soprattutto il cuore della nota manifestazione “Mele a Mel” che si tiene ogni anno il secondo fine settimana di ottobre.
This 18th century Palazzo, with its distinctive horizontal façade, stands on the square. Inside is a large courtyard that looks towards the countryside, with a portico with arches supported by finely finished ashlar pillars. In the garden there are several sculptured stone elements, a well and a monumental door. The rooms inside and the large hall on the first floor have walls decorated with frescoes, coffered ceilings and terrazzo floors.
The inner courtyard hosts a number of events during the year, including concerts and plays, and is the focus of the famous “Mele a Mel” festival which is held the second weekend of October every year.
