La chiesa è dedicata a S. Bartolomeo e nella sua forma attuale risale al secolo XV. Le strutture murarie lasciano però intravedere alcuni segni di rifacimenti ed ampliamenti subiti nel corso dei secoli. Nota dominante è la stupenda sequenza di affreschi che ricoprono le pareti. Gli affreschi narrano per immagini, come era il costume del tempo, la vita del Santo patrono, ma spicca su tutti il grande riquadro dell'ultima cena, singolare anche per la presenza dei gamberi rossi sulla mensa. È una nota che si fa presente con evidenti allusioni simboliche, su una ben determinata fascia geografica che da Aquileia e dall'Adriatico va verso il Trentino e il Nord, passando appunto per il nostro territorio. Sopra l'Ultima Cena ne era stata dipinta un'altra, databile alla metà del 16. secolo. Staccata e restaurata è ora conservata presso l'asilo di Lentiai.
Gli affreschi dedicati al santo patrono sono stati realizzati da Marco Da Mel nel 1540. L'altare barocco è in legno dorato: alla sua base un paliotto in cuoio battuto e dipinto raffigura San Bartolomeo. La pala raffigura la Vergine col Bambino tra Santi, fra i quali è ben riconoscibile San Bartolomeo. Gli stemmi araldici presenti sulla pala permettono di collocarla nella seconda metà del 17. secolo.
This church is dedicated to Saint Bartholomew and the current construction dates back to the 15th century. The masonry work, however, shows some signs that the church was renovated and extended over the centuries. The real high point of the church is the stunning sequence of frescoes on the walls. They show what life was like at the time, with scenes from the life of the patron saint; what really stands out however is the large representation of the Last Supper, which is also unusual because there are red shrimps on the table. This detail has obvious symbolic allusions, as this area lies geographically on the route from Aquileia and the Adriatic Sea to Trentino and the north. Another Last Supper had been painted on top of this one, dating back to the mid-sixteenth century. It has been removed and restored and is now preserved at the nursery school in Lentiai.
The frescoes, dedicated to the patron saint, were the work of Marco Da Mel in 1540. The Baroque altar is in gilded wood: at the bottom a frontal in hammered and painted leather depicts Saint Bartholomew. The altarpiece is decorated with a Virgin and Child between Saints, and Saint Bartholomew can easily be recognised among them. The coats of arms on the altarpiece date it to the second half of the 17th century.
