La chiesetta è dedicata a S. Antonio Abate e al suo interno si possono ammirare preziosi affreschi raffiguranti la vita del Santo. Sulla parete di fondo si notano affreschi del XV secolo raffiguranti la Madonna col Bambino e un Santo Vescovo. Gli affreschi cinquecenteschi, invece, sono attribuiti a Giovanni e Marco da Mel e raffigurano momenti della vita di S. Antonio. Nella stessa Chiesa vi è una tempera su tavola del 1522, con la Madonna e il Bambino fra s. Antonio Abate e S. Andrea, firmata da Giovanni da Mel. La chiesa è stata oggetto di recenti restauri che hanno portato in luce l’antica pavimentazione esterna, recuperata e visibile.
This small church is dedicated to Anthony the Abbot. Inside exquisite frescoes depict the life of the saint. On the back wall 15th century frescoes portray the Madonna and Child and a Holy Bishop. The 16th century frescoes, on the other hand, are attributed to Giovanni and Marco da Mel and represent moments in the life of Saint Anthony. The same church is also home to a tempera on a panel of a Madonna and Child between Anthony the Abbot and Saint Andrew dated in 1522 and signed by Giovanni da Mel. The Church has recently undergone restoration works revealing the ancient outdoor paving which has been recovered and is now visible.
