Winds from the East - Venti di Levante è una rassegna culturale che intreccia arti visive, musica e workshop per dare voce al panorama artistico iraniano contemporaneo. Attraverso lo sguardo e la materia, il progetto si propone come uno spazio di riflessione condivisa intorno ai temi della memoria, del corpo, dell’identità e delle trasformazioni sociali.
Il percorso si apre presso la Biblioteca di Trichiana con la personale di Samereh Sagheb, un’esposizione intitolata Iran | Oltre lo sguardo delle donne, arricchita da un incontro d'approfondimento pensato per superare gli stereotipi e penetrare la complessità del vissuto femminile.
A Palazzo delle Contesse prende invece vita la ricerca concettuale e multidisciplinare di Nasser Teymourpour, la cui opera trasforma la materia in uno spazio di tensione tra narrazioni ufficiali ed esperienza individuale.
Parallelamente alla mostra, lo stesso palazzo ospita il laboratorio artistico condotto dal collettivo RIWAR (Corpo | Memoria | Narrazione), un cantiere aperto di dialogo e sperimentazione in cui i partecipanti esplorano le proprie storie trasformandole in espressione visiva.
Infine,l'Auditorium di San Pietro a Mel accoglie la musica suggestiva di Alireza Mortazavi nel concerto La Persia Perduta, un viaggio sonoro affidato alle vibrazioni del santur capace di ricucire tradizioni antiche e sensibilità contemporanee.
Winds from the East - Venti di Levante is a cultural showcase that intertwines visual arts, music, and workshops to give voice to the contemporary Iranian artistic landscape. Through perspective and material, the project aims to serve as a space for shared reflection on themes of memory, body, identity, and social transformations.
The pathway opens at the Library of Trichiana with the solo exhibition of Samereh Sagheb, an exhibition titled Iran | Beyond the Gaze of Women, enriched by an in-depth meeting designed to overcome stereotypes and penetrate the complexity of the female experience.
At the Palace of the Countesses, the conceptual and multidisciplinary research of Nasser Teymourpour comes to life, whose work transforms matter into a space of tension between official narratives and individual experience.
Alongside the exhibition, the same palace hosts the artistic workshop led by the RIWAR collective (Body | Memory | Narrative), an open workshop of dialogue and experimentation where participants explore their own stories, transforming them into visual expression.
Finally, the Auditorium of San Pietro a Mel welcomes the evocative music of Alireza Mortazavi in the concert The Lost Persia, a sonic journey entrusted to the vibrations of the santur capable of stitching together ancient traditions and contemporary sensibilities.
Winds from the East - Venti di Levante ist eine kulturelle Übersicht, die visuelle Kunst, Musik und Workshops miteinander verwebt, um der zeitgenössischen iranischen Kunstszene eine Stimme zu geben. Durch den Blick und das Material versteht sich das Projekt als Raum für gemeinsamen Austausch zu den Themen Erinnerung, Körper, Identität und sozialen Transformationen.
Der Weg öffnet sich in der Bibliothek von Trichiana mit der Einzelausstellung von Samereh Sagheb, einer Ausstellung mit dem Titel Iran | Jenseits des Blicks der Frauen, ergänzt durch ein vertiefendes Treffen, das darauf abzielt, Stereotype zu überwinden und die Komplexität des weiblichen Erlebens zu durchdringen.
Im Palazzo delle Contesse entfaltet sich hingegen die konzeptionelle und multidisziplinäre Forschung von Nasser Teymourpour, dessen Werk das Material in einen Spannungsraum zwischen offiziellen Erzählungen und individueller Erfahrung verwandelt.
Parallel zur Ausstellung beherbergt dasselbe Palais den künstlerischen Workshop, der von dem kollektiv RIWAR (Körper | Erinnerung | Erzählung) geleitet wird, eine offene Baustelle des Dialogs und der Experimentation, in der die Teilnehmer ihre eigenen Geschichten erforschen und in visuelle Ausdrucksformen verwandeln.
Schließlich empfängt das Auditorium von San Pietro a Mel die eindrucksvolle Musik von Alireza Mortazavi im Konzert Das verlorene Persien, eine Klangreise, die den Schwingungen des Santurs anvertraut ist und in der Lage ist, alte Traditionen mit zeitgenössischen Sensibilitäten zu verbinden.
