Non c'è solo il Cammino di Santiago. Non ci sono solo le grandi traversate sulle Alpi o i coast to coast da un mare all'altro.
Esistono anche tanti cammini brevi: di un weekend, di mezza giornata, rubati alle pause pranzo o all'ultima luce pomeridiana prima del tramonto.
Itinerari pianificati, ma a volte anche affidati al caso: nei parchi di periferia, sui primi colli, lungo gli argini dei fiumi, in mezzo ai quartieri industriali.
I percorsi a piedi sono sempre dietro l'angolo, potenzialmente infiniti, e possono diventare piacevoli momenti liberatori per uscire dagli schemi del quotidiano, ma anche viaggi immaginari oltre i confini della realtà.
Nessuno dei miei passi è stato inutile racconta i tanti cammini dell'autore tra l'estate 2023 e l'autunno 2024, da solo o in compagnia, soprattutto nel Nord Italia.
Ma scorre anche a ritroso nel tempo, fino alle prime passeggiate della sua infanzia, per poi lanciarsi verso un futuro pieno di progetti.

There is not just the Camino de Santiago. There are not just the great crossings in the Alps or coast-to-coast journeys from one sea to another.
There are also many short walks: a weekend, half a day, stolen from lunch breaks or the last light of the afternoon before sunset.
Planned itineraries, but sometimes also left to chance: in the suburban parks, on the first hills, along the riverbanks, amidst the industrial districts.
Walking paths are always around the corner, potentially infinite, and can become pleasant liberating moments to step out of the patterns of everyday life, but also imaginary journeys beyond the borders of reality.
None of my steps has been useless recounts the many paths of the author between the summer of 2023 and the autumn of 2024, alone or in company, especially in Northern Italy.
But it also flows backward in time, back to the first walks of his childhood, only to then launch into a future full of projects.

Es gibt nicht nur den Jakobsweg. Es gibt nicht nur die großen Überquerungen der Alpen oder die Küstenüberquerungen von einem Meer zum anderen.
Es gibt auch viele kurze Wege: am Wochenende, für einen halben Tag, während der Mittagspause oder im letzten Licht des Nachmittags vor dem Sonnenuntergang.
Geplante Routen, aber manchmal auch dem Zufall überlassen: in den Vorstadtparks, auf den ersten Hügeln, entlang der Flussufer, mitten in den Industriegebieten.
Die Wanderwege sind immer um die Ecke, potenziell endlos, und können zu angenehmen Befreiungsmomenten werden, um aus den Mustern des Alltags auszubrechen, aber auch zu imaginären Reisen jenseits der Grenzen der Realität.
Kein Schritt von mir war umsonst, erzählt von den vielen Wegen des Autors zwischen dem Sommer 2023 und dem Herbst 2024, alleine oder in Gesellschaft, vor allem in Norditalien.
Aber er fließt auch rückwärts in der Zeit, bis zu den ersten Spaziergängen seiner Kindheit, um sich dann in eine Zukunft voller Projekte zu stürzen.
