Cosa ci racconterà quest'anno la "vecia"? Ne avrà come sempre per tutti, leggeremo il suo testamento e la serata sarà completata con il divertimento del Duo G&G, la musica della Filarmonica di Lentiai e la straordinaria partecipazione della classi 5^ della scuola "Domenico Savio" e della scuola Antonio Solagna.
Serata organizzata dalla Pro Loco di Lentiai in collaborazione con la Protezione Civile AIB di Lentiai.

"Brusa la Vecia" è una manifestazione tradizionale che ricade nel periodo di metà Quaresima. Alla lettura del "Testamento della Vecia" segue lo spettacolare "rogo" della stessa che rievoca un antica usanza della tradizione popolare. Si tratta infatti di un vero e proprio "rito di passaggio" dal vecchio al nuovo, dalla cattiva alla buona stagione, il quale porta con sè la volontà di scongiurare ogni maleficio e di propiziare il bene.
What will "the old woman" tell us this year? As always, she will have something for everyone, we will read her will, and the evening will be completed with the entertainment of Duo G&G, the music of the Filarmonica di Lentiai, and the extraordinary participation of the 5th-grade classes from "Domenico Savio" school and Antonio Solagna school.

"Burn the Old Woman" is a traditional event that takes place in the middle of Lent. After the reading of the "Will of the Old Woman", follows the spectacular "bonfire" of her, which evokes an ancient custom of popular tradition. It is indeed a true "rite of passage" from old to new, from bad to good season, which carries the will to avert every malefice and to promote good.
Was wird uns in diesem Jahr die "Alte" erzählen? Sie wird wie immer für jeden etwas haben, wir werden ihr Testament lesen und der Abend wird mit dem Vergnügen des Duos G&G, der Musik der Philharmonie von Lentiai und der außergewöhnlichen Teilnahme der Klassen 5 der Schule "Domenico Savio" und der Schule Antonio Solagna vervollständigt.
Veranstaltung organisiert von der Pro Loco von Lentiai in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Zivilschutz AIB von Lentiai.

"Brusa la Vecia" ist eine traditionelle Veranstaltung, die in die Mitte der Fastenzeit fällt. Auf die Lesung des "Testaments der Alten" folgt das spektakuläre "Scheiterhaufen" derselben, das eine alte Gewohnheit der Volkskultur wieder aufleben lässt. Es handelt sich nämlich um ein echtes "Übergangsritual" vom Alten zum Neuen, von der schlechten zur guten Jahreszeit, das den Willen birgt, jedes Übel abzuwenden und das Gute zu begünstigen.
