Torna la tradizionale "brusa la vecia" con la lettura del testamento e cibo e bevande offerte dal comitato frazionale di Zottier!
"Brusa la Vecia" è una manifestazione tradizionale che ricade nel periodo di metà Quaresima. Alla lettura del "Testamento della Vecia" segue lo spettacolare "rogo" della stessa che rievoca un antica usanza della tradizione popolare. Si tratta infatti di un vero e proprio "rito di passaggio" dal vecchio al nuovo, dalla cattiva alla buona stagione, il quale porta con sè la volontà di scongiurare ogni maleficio e di propiziare il bene.
The traditional "brusa la vecia" returns with the reading of the will and food and drinks offered by the Zottier local committee!
"Brusa la Vecia" is a traditional event that takes place during the mid-Lent period. Following the reading of the "Testament of the Vecia", there is the spectacular "bonfire" of the same, which recalls an ancient custom of popular tradition. It is indeed a true "rite of passage" from the old to the new, from the bad to the good season, which carries with it the intention to ward off all evil and to favor good.
