Cuore del borgo commerciale medievale, caratteristica che ha conservato fino ad oggi con la sequenza senza soluzione di continuità di negozi, taluni tipici e tradizionali, altri moderni e raffinati. Le facciate sono un'allegra sequenza di tratti architettonici diversi: gli erker (sporti murali), le decorazioni a stucco, i colori pastello, il balcone di Palazzo Mercantile, i porticati che si alternano in varie altezze e con varie decorazioni. Particolarmente belli sono quelli del Vecchio Municipio, ora sede dell'Archivio Storico Comunale, costruiti a sesto acuto con belle decorazioni a fresco. Interessanti sono anche i vicoli che collegano alle vie parallele che mostrano i vari usi dei corpi abitativi (negozio, magazzino, cantina, androni, laboratori)
The historic archades are the heart of the medieval Commercial centre, a title that it has conserved up to the present day, thanks to the unbroken chain of Shops which Stretch out before you, some traditional and typical and others more modern and elegant. The facades are a bright presentation of different architectural styles: the bay windows, the stucco decorations. The old Town Hall has some beautiful archways, which are expecially nice, which now houses the Headquarters of the Local History Archive, built with a ponted arch with some nice fresco decorations. The alleys which connect to the parallel streets are also interesting. Of special mention are those of the old Town Hall, now home to the Town Records Office, with pointed arches and pleasant decorative fresco effect. also of note are the alley which connect to the parallel streets that maintain the architectural style of the buildings around and abound in various activities (shops, warehouses, cellars, courtyards, workshops).
Herzstück des mittelalterlichen und auch heutigen kaufmännischen Zentrums. Die Lauben beherbergen eine Unmenge von Geschäftslokalen, traditionell die einen, modern-raffiniert die anderen. Architektonisch betrachtet sind die Fassaden eine bunte Ansammlung von Elementen verschiedenster Stilrichtungen: Erker, Stuck-Ornamente, Verzierung jeder Sorte, Anstrich vorwiegend in Pastelltönen, die verschieden hohen Wandelgänge, der hervorragende Balkon des Merkantilgebäudes. Bemerkenswert das Alte Rathaus, heute Sitz des Stadtarchivs, mit Spitzbogengewölbe und schönen Freskendekorationen. Interessant die schmalen Durchgänge zu den Parallelgassen. Sie vermitteln eindrucksvoll die Struktur und Dimension der schmalen und ungewöhnlich tiefen Lauben-Wohnhäuser mit Geschäftslokalen, Lagerräumen, Kellern, Werkstätten und bizarren Hauseingängen.
