Consacrata nel 1180, la chiesetta rappresenta un gioiello per la città. La semplice architettura del corpo centrale è arricchita dal bel Campanile con trifora e bifora del primo Trecento. La decorazione pittorica interna è eccezionale: artisti girovaghi di scuola giottesca introducono un nuovo stile plastico e una tecnica ad affresco eccezionale che rivelano straordinaria capacità artistica e interpretativa. Consecrated in 1180, the small church is Bolzano/Bozen's pride and joy. The simple central architecture is enriched by the beautiful bell Tower with mullioned Windows with two and three lights from the early years of the 14th century. The interior artwork is splendid: artists from Giotto's "vagabond" movement introduced a new plastic style and an astounding fresco technique, which reveal extraordinary interpretative and artistic capabilities. Ein wahres Kleinod, geweiht um 1180. Die einfache Architektur des zentralen Teils wird mit dem hübschen Kirchturm erweitert, mit dreibogigen und zweibogigen Fenstern aus dem frühen 14. Jh. Die wertvollen Fresken im Innenraum sind eine Ausnahmeerscheinung: Junge heimische Künstler aus der Schule des Giotto haben einen neuen Malstil und eine Freskentechnik eingeführt, die von außerordentlichen künstlerischen und interpretativen Fähigkeiten zeugt.
