Sabato 26 e domenica 27 settembre 2026 tornano le Giornate Europee del Patrimonio (European Heritage Days), manifestazione culturale promossa dal Consiglio d’Europa e dalla Commissione Europea e coordinata in Italia dal Ministero della Cultura. Anche il Sistema Museale Provinciale Polesine (SMPP), la rete museale coordinata dalla Provincia di Rovigo, aderisce all’appuntamento con un ricco calendario di aperture, visite guidate e percorsi tematici e iniziative speciali che coinvolgono musei e luoghi della cultura di numerosi Comuni del territorio. Il tema dell’edizione 2026, “Proteggere il patrimonio. Rinnovare, resistere, reinventare”, invita a riflettere sulle molteplici sollecitazioni alle quali il patrimonio culturale è oggi sottoposto e intende promuovere una maggiore consapevolezza sulla necessità di prendersene cura, rinnovando gli strumenti della conoscenza e individuando nuove modalità di fruizione e trasmissione.
Su questi obiettivi poggiano, ad esempio, le proposte del Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Adria, che sabato 26 settembre ha programmato “Ciceroni per un giorno”, visite guidate a cura degli studenti del Liceo “Bocchi-Galilei” di Adria; l'iniziativa è riservata alle classi del liceo e agli ospiti degli alunni. Nella stessa giornata, dalle 19.30 alle 23.00 (ultimo ingresso alle 22.30), il museo propone un'apertura straordinaria serale con visita ai depositi sotterranei del museo e alla barca cucita (ingresso al costo simbolico di 1 euro, prenotazione obbligatoria). Domenica, alle 11.00 e alle 16.30, nuova visita guidata alla mostra “...e l’immagine prese vita”, nell'ambito di Adrikà-Mostre. Al Museo Diocesano di Adria (Piazzetta Campanile) alle ore 10 si terra' l'inaugurazione della mostra 'Pensieri di carta: disegni e progetti della Cattedrale di Adria nei 250 anni dalla fondazione (1770-2026)'. Il Museo dei Grandi Fiumi di Rovigo, sabato 26 settembre propone, con un doppio turno alle 15.00 e alle 16.30, “Il pericolo immaginario. Viaggio nell’Inferno di Dante”, speciale visita animata tra le sale a cura di TeatrOrtaet. Il giorno seguente, in occasione del festival Rovigoracconta KIDS, il museo ha organizzato il laboratorio “Un mondo da salva-guardare. Storie erranti con il teatrino kamishibai”, alle 16.15 e alle 17.30, al parco IRAS “Melvin Jones” di Rovigo. Sempre domenica, alle 12.00, visita guidata per famiglie, “Ti porto al museo!”, con partenza dal parco, alla scoperta di antichi villaggi, rotte commerciali e relazioni che hanno segnato lo sviluppo del Polesine. Sempre a Rovigo, protagonista sarà anche la Torre Donà, uno dei simboli più riconoscibili della città e straordinaria testimonianza del suo passato medievale. Nel corso del fine settimana saranno organizzate salite guidate che permetteranno di conoscere la storia della torre e di raggiungerne la sommità, da cui si apre uno sguardo privilegiato sulla città. Saturday, September 26 and Sunday, September 27, 2026 the European Heritage Days return, a cultural event promoted by the Council of Europe and the European Commission and coordinated in Italy by the Ministry of Culture. The Provincial Museum System of Polesine (SMPP), the museum network coordinated by the Province of Rovigo, also participates in the event with a rich calendar of openings, guided tours, thematic paths, and special initiatives involving museums and cultural sites from numerous municipalities in the area. The theme for the 2026 edition, "Protecting Heritage. Renewing, Resisting, Reinventing," encourages reflection on the multiple pressures that cultural heritage is currently facing and aims to promote greater awareness of the need to care for it, renewing tools for knowledge and identifying new ways of enjoyment and transmission.
For example, the proposals of the National Archaeological Museum of Adria are based on these objectives, which on Saturday, September 26 have scheduled “Guides for a Day,” guided tours led by students from the “Bocchi-Galilei” High School in Adria; the initiative is reserved for high school classes and their guests. On the same day, from 7:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. (last admission at 10:30 p.m.), the museum offers a special evening opening with a tour of the museum's underground deposits and the sewn boat (entrance at the symbolic cost of 1 euro, reservation required). On Sunday, at 11:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., there will be a new guided tour of the exhibition “...and the image came to life,” part of Adrikà-Exhibitions. At the Diocesan Museum of Adria (Piazzetta Campanile) at 10:00 a.m., the inauguration of the exhibition 'Thoughts of Paper: Drawings and Projects of the Cathedral of Adria in the 250 years since its foundation (1770-2026)' will take place. The Museum of the Great Rivers in Rovigo, on Saturday, September 26, proposes, with two shifts at 3:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., “The Imaginary Danger: A Journey into Dante’s Hell,” a special animated visit through the rooms curated by TeatrOrtaet. The following day, during the Rovigoracconta KIDS festival, the museum has organized the workshop “A World to Safeguard: Wandering Stories with the Kamishibai Theater,” at 4:15 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., in the IRAS “Melvin Jones” park in Rovigo. Also on Sunday, at 12:00 p.m., a guided tour for families, “I Take You to the Museum!”, departing from the park, exploring ancient villages, trade routes, and relationships that have shaped the development of Polesine. Also in Rovigo, the Donà Tower will also take center stage, one of the most recognizable symbols of the city and an extraordinary testimony to its medieval past. Throughout the weekend, guided climbs will allow visitors to learn about the history of the tower and reach its summit, offering a privileged view of the city. Samstag, den 26. und Sonntag, den 27. September 2026 kehren die Europäischen Tage des Erbes (European Heritage Days) zurück, eine Kulturveranstaltung, die vom Europarat und der Europäischen Kommission gefördert und in Italien vom Ministerium für Kultur koordiniert wird. Auch das Provinzmuseumssystem Polesine (SMPP), das von der Provinz Rovigo koordinierte Netzwerk von Museen, beteiligt sich an dem Ereignis mit einem reichen Kalender an Öffnungen, Führungen und thematischen Touren sowie speziellen Initiativen, die Museen und Kulturorte in zahlreichen Gemeinden des Gebiets einbeziehen. Das Thema der Ausgabe 2026, “Das Erbe schützen. Erneuern, widerstehen, neu gestalten”, lädt dazu ein, über die vielen Herausforderungen nachzudenken, denen das Kulturerbe heute ausgesetzt ist, und will ein größeres Bewusstsein für die Notwendigkeit fördern, sich darum zu kümmern, indem die Mittel des Wissens erneuert und neue Möglichkeiten der Nutzung und Übertragung identifiziert werden.
Auf diesen Zielen basieren zum Beispiel die Vorschläge des Nationalen Archäologischen Museums von Adria, das am Samstag, den 26. September, “Betrüger für einen Tag” geplant hat, wobei Führungen von den Studenten des Gymnasiums “Bocchi-Galilei” in Adria durchgeführt werden; die Initiative ist den Klassen des Gymnasiums und den Gästen der Schüler vorbehalten. Am selben Tag, von 19.30 bis 23.00 Uhr (letzter Eintritt um 22.30 Uhr), bietet das Museum eine außergewöhnliche Abendöffnung mit einer Besichtigung der unterirdischen Depots des Museums und des genähten Bootes (Eintritt zum symbolischen Preis von 1 Euro, Reservierung erforderlich). Am Sonntag gibt es um 11.00 Uhr und um 16.30 Uhr eine neue Führung durch die Ausstellung “…und das Bild nahm Leben”, im Rahmen von Adrikà-Ausstellungen. Reise in Dantes Hölle” an, eine spezielle animierte Führung durch die Säle, organisiert von TeatrOrtaet. Am folgenden Tag, anlässlich des Festivals Rovigoracconta KIDS, hat das Museum den Workshop “Eine Welt zum Schützen. Wandernde Geschichten mit dem Kamishibai-Theater” um 16.15 und 17.30 Uhr im Park IRAS “Melvin Jones” von Rovigo organisiert. Ebenfalls am Sonntag gibt es um 12.00 Uhr eine Familienführung “Ich bringe dich ins Museum!”, mit Start vom Park, um die Entdeckung alter Dörfer, Handelsrouten und Beziehungen, die die Entwicklung des Polesine geprägt haben. Auch in Rovigo wird auch der Torre Donà eine Hauptrolle spielen, eines der erkennbarsten Symbole der Stadt und ein außergewöhnliches Zeugnis ihrer mittelalterlichen Vergangenheit. Im Laufe des Wochenendes werden geführte Führungen angeboten, die es ermöglichen, die Geschichte des Turms kennenzulernen und dessen Spitze zu erreichen, von wo aus sich ein privilegierter Blick auf die Stadt bietet.
