Il concerto di un musicista assolutamente originale, uno degli artisti più visionari e coerenti della musica italiana contemporanea: Paolo Angeli. Sardo nativo di Palau, oggi residente in Catalogna, attivo dal 1995 e ideatore di uno strumento unico che ha portato sui palchi di tutto il mondo: “è una chitarra orchestra”, racconta, “nell’arco di trent’anni ha inglobato elementi che ho rubato ad altri strumenti, è un continuo work in progress”. 25 corde, ibrido tra chitarra baritono, violoncello e batteria, dotato di martelletti, pedaliere ed eliche: “l’idea è di allargare le potenzialità timbriche dello strumento: mi considero bastardo culturalmente e questa chitarra riflette la mia visione, ne ha voluta una anche Pat Metheny”.

A native Sardinian from Palau, now residing in Catalonia, active since 1995 and the creator of a unique instrument that he has brought to stages around the world: “it’s an orchestra guitar,” he explains, “over the span of thirty years it has incorporated elements I have borrowed from other instruments, it’s a continuous work in progress.” 25 strings, a hybrid between bass guitar, cello, and drums, equipped with hammers, pedals, and propellers: “the idea is to expand the timbral potential of the instrument: I consider myself culturally bastard, and this guitar reflects my vision; Pat Metheny also wanted one.”

Geboren in Palau, heute wohnhaft in Katalonien, aktiv seit 1995 und Erfinder eines einzigartigen Instruments, das er auf Bühnen in der ganzen Welt präsentiert hat: „Es ist eine Orchester-Gitarre“, erzählt er, „im Laufe von dreißig Jahren habe ich Elemente integriert, die ich anderen Instrumenten entnommen habe, es ist ein ständiger Work in Progress“. 25 Saiten, ein Hybrid aus Bariton-Gitarre, Cello und Schlagzeug, ausgestattet mit Hämmern, Effektpedalen und Propellern: „Die Idee ist, die klanglichen Möglichkeiten des Instruments zu erweitern: Ich betrachte mich kulturell als Bastard, und diese Gitarre spiegelt meine Vision wider; auch Pat Metheny wollte eine.“
