Torna anche quest’anno la grande manifestazione “Bassano – Città dello Sport”, che con la sua 19ma edizione avrà luogo in Parco Ragazzi del ’99 nella giornata di domenica 21 settembre 2025, con rinvio alla domenica successiva, 28 settembre, in caso di maltempo.
La giornata dedicata esclusivamente allo sport, e rivolta principalmente ai ragazzi delle scuole primarie e secondarie di primo grado bassanesi, è promossa dal Comune di Bassano del Grappa con l’obiettivo di promuovere le singole discipline sportive attraverso una prova pratica, con il coinvolgimento delle società del territorio e dei rispettivi sportivi già in attività, tecnici e allenatori.
“L’amministrazione comunale – spiega il Vice Sindaco e Assessore allo Sport, Mariano Scotton – sarà impegnata sempre di più in prima linea con la gestione della parte amministrativa, logistica e organizzativa perché crede nello sport come mezzo di crescita umana e fisica attraverso l’impegno, il sacrificio, la passione, il divertimento e l’amicizia. Dopo un recente atto di indirizzo approvato dalla Giunta, stiamo procedendo ora con la ricerca di sponsor, ai quali rivolgiamo l’invito a sostenerci, e con una campagna informativa, anche attraverso le scuole del territorio, per favorire la massima partecipazione dei ragazzi e delle loro famiglie”.
Sono oltre quaranta le società coinvolte, tra le quali figurano le più svariate discipline sportive: dalle più note come hockey, pallavolo, ciclismo, rugby, calcio, atletica leggera, tennis e basket, passando per le arti marziali, la danza e la ginnastica, fino a skate, sommozzatori, nordic walking, golf, baseball e orienteering.
Anche quest’anno, inoltre, saranno presenti per l’occasione alcune associazioni come Città della Speranza e Città del Dono, che supporteranno l’evento sportivo attraverso la raccolta di iscrizioni, nel luogo dell’evento, per sensibilizzare i giovani rispetto alla sofferenza e ai disagi vissuti da tanti loro coetanei meno fortunati.
“Bassano è sempre stata una città di grandi campioni, grandi squadre e manifestazioni internazionali – continua Mariano Scotton – che allo stesso tempo coltiva e incoraggia i giovani, promuove lo sport per i disabili, affianca le scuole nel delicato compito educativo/sportivo, premia il fair play. Così si spiega anche il successo che ha sempre riscosso questa iniziativa, che da qui è partita per raggiungere le migliaia di partecipanti ad ogni edizione ed essere replicata anche in altri Comuni del territorio”.
The great event “Bassano – City of Sport” returns this year, now in its 19th edition, which will take place in Parco Ragazzi del ’99 on Sunday, September 21, 2025, with a postponement to the following Sunday, September 28, in case of bad weather.
The day, dedicated exclusively to sports and primarily aimed at primary and secondary school students from Bassano, is promoted by the Municipality of Bassano del Grappa with the objective of promoting individual sports disciplines through a practical trial, involving local clubs and their respective active athletes, coaches, and trainers.
“The municipal administration – explains the Deputy Mayor and Sports Councillor, Mariano Scotton – will increasingly be on the front line managing the administrative, logistical, and organizational aspects because it believes in sports as a means of human and physical growth through commitment, sacrifice, passion, enjoyment, and friendship. Following a recent directive approved by the Council, we are now proceeding with the search for sponsors, to whom we invite to support us, and with an informative campaign, also through local schools, to encourage maximum participation from young people and their families.”
Over forty clubs are involved, featuring a wide variety of sports disciplines: from the more popular ones such as hockey, volleyball, cycling, rugby, soccer, athletics, tennis, and basketball, to martial arts, dance, and gymnastics, all the way to skateboarding, diving, Nordic walking, golf, baseball, and orienteering.
This year, also attending will be several associations like Città della Speranza and Città del Dono, which will support the sporting event by collecting registrations at the event location to raise awareness among young people about the suffering and challenges faced by many of their less fortunate peers.
“Bassano has always been a city of great champions, great teams, and international events – continues Mariano Scotton – that at the same time nurtures and encourages young people, promotes sports for the disabled, supports schools in the delicate educational/sporting task, and rewards fair play. This explains the success that this initiative has always enjoyed, which has started here to attract thousands of participants at every edition and has been replicated in other municipalities in the area.”
Auch in diesem Jahr findet die große Veranstaltung “Bassano – Stadt des Sports” statt, die mit ihrer 19. Auflage am Sonntag, den 21. September 2025, im Parco Ragazzi del ’99 stattfindet, mit einer Verschiebung auf den folgenden Sonntag, den 28. September, im Falle von schlechtem Wetter.
Der Tag, der ausschließlich dem Sport gewidmet ist und sich hauptsächlich an die Schüler der Grund- und der Sekundarschulen in Bassano richtet, wird von der Gemeinde Bassano del Grappa gefördert, um die einzelnen Sportarten durch praktische Übungen zu bewerben, wobei die örtlichen Sportvereine und die jeweiligen aktiven Sportler, Trainer und Betreuer einbezogen werden.
„Die Gemeindeverwaltung – erklärt der Vizebürgermeister und Sportreferent Mariano Scotton – wird sich immer stärker in der administrativen, logistischen und organisatorischen Verantwortung engagieren, da sie an den Sport als Mittel für menschliches und körperliches Wachstum glaubt, durch Engagement, Opferbereitschaft, Leidenschaft, Spaß und Freundschaft. Nach einem kürzlich genehmigten Leitbeschluss durch die Stadtregierung suchen wir nun nach Sponsoren, an die wir den Aufruf richten, uns zu unterstützen, und führen eine Informationskampagne durch, auch über die Schulen vor Ort, um die maximale Teilnahme der Jugendlichen und ihrer Familien zu fördern.”
Über vierzig Vereine sind beteiligt, darunter die unterschiedlichsten Sportarten: von den bekanntesten wie Hockey, Volleyball, Radfahren, Rugby, Fußball, Leichtathletik, Tennis und Basketball, über Kampfsportarten, Tanz und Gymnastik bis hin zu Skateboarding, Tauchen, Nordic Walking, Golf, Baseball und Orientierungslauf.
Auch in diesem Jahr werden anlässlich der Veranstaltung einige Verbände wie Città della Speranza und Città del Dono anwesend sein, die das Sportereignis durch die Sammlung von Anmeldungen am Veranstaltungsort unterstützen, um das Bewusstsein der Jugendlichen für das Leid und die Schwierigkeiten zu schärfen, die viele ihrer weniger glücklichen Altersgenossen erleben.
„Bassano war schon immer eine Stadt großer Champions, großer Teams und internationaler Veranstaltungen – fährt Mariano Scotton fort – die gleichzeitig die Jugend fördert und ermutigt, den Sport für Menschen mit Behinderungen vorantreibt, die Schulen in der sensiblen Bildungs-/Sportaufgabe unterstützt und Fair Play belohnt. So erklärt sich auch der Erfolg, den diese Initiative immer gehabt hat, die hier ihren Anfang nahm, um tausende von Teilnehmern bei jeder Ausgabe zu erreichen und auch in anderen Gemeinden der Region wiederholt zu werden.”
