La storia del tennis inizia in Italia verso la fine dell’ottocento Sono gli inglesi a praticarlo e farlo conoscere durante i lunghi soggiorni nel nostro paese. Nel 1920 il tennis italiano partecipa per la prima volta alle Olimpiadi, dopodiché diventa sempre più giocato e sport conosciuto.
Il Circolo Tennis Bardolino rappresenta un punto di riferimento per gli sportivi del lago di Garda. L’associazione nasce nel 1977 grazie alla passione per il tennis di 30 soci fondatori. Gli impianti sono di proprietà del Comune e in gestione allo stesso circolo. L’impianto è dotato di tre campi in terra battuta ed uno in green set, tutti dotati di un nuovissimo impianto di illuminazione a led, inoltre vi è una palazzina servizi con annessi bar e spogliatoi.
Fin dai primi anni sono state formate squadre per la partecipazione ai Campionati organizzati dalla FIT sempre ottenendo ottimi risultati.
Quest'anno ci sarà la nuova tappa del torneo nazionale di tennis open maschile e femminile "Città di Bardolino".
L'evento organizzato sempre dal locale Circolo Tennis, è autorizzato dalla Federazione Italiana Tennis ed ha il patrocinio del Comune, della Provincia e del Coni. Gli incontri si svolgeranno durante tutta la durata del giorno e anche in notturna presso lo stesso Circolo Tennis. L'ultima edizione è stata un successo, tra sfide all'ultima palla e incontri sottorete in un clima accogliente e non solo competitivo.

In 1920 Italian tennis participated for the first time in the Olympics, after which it becames more and more played and known sport.
The Bardolino Tennis Club is a reference point for sportsmen and women on Lake Garda. The association was founded in 1977 thanks to the passion for tennis of 30 founding members. The facilities are owned by the municipality and managed by the same club. The facility is equipped with three clay courts and one in green set, all equipped with a brand new LED lighting system, there is also a service building with adjoining bars and changing rooms.
Since the early years have been formed teams for participation in the Championships organized by the FIT always getting excellent results.
This year there will be the new stage of the national open tennis tournament for men and women "City of Bardolino".
The event is also organized by the local Tennis Club, is authorized by the Italian Tennis Federation and is sponsored by the City, the Province and the Italian Olympic Committee. The meetings will be held throughout the day and also at night at the same tennis club. The last edition was a success, between last ball challenges and subnet matches in a welcoming and not only competitive atmosphere.
Die Geschichte des Tennissports beginnt in Italien gegen Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts. Sind die Engländer, die es praktizieren und während ihrer langen Aufenthalt in unserem Land bekannt machen. 1920 nahm das italienische Tennis zum ersten Mal an den Olympischen Spielen teil, danach wurde es immer mehr gespielt und bekannter Sport.
Der Tennisclub Bardolino ist ein Bezugspunkt für Sportler am Gardasee. Der Verein wurde 1977 aus der Leidenschaft für das Tennis von 30 Gründungsmitgliedern gegründet. Die Einrichtungen befinden sich im Besitz der Gemeinde und werden vom gleichen Club verwaltet. Die Anlage ist mit drei Sandplätzen und einem grünen Set ausgestattet, alle mit einer brandneuen LED-Beleuchtung, einem Servicegebäude mit angrenzenden Bars und Umkleideräumen.
Seit den ersten Jahren wurden Teams für die Teilnahme an den von der FIT organisierten Meisterschaften zusammengestellt, die immer hervorragende Ergebnisse erzielten.
In diesem Jahr wird die neue Etappe des nationalen offenen Tennisturniers für Männer und Frauen "City of Bardolino" stattfinden.
Die Veranstaltung wird ebenfalls vom örtlichen Tennisclub organisiert, ist vom italienischen Tennisverband autorisiert und wird von der Stadt, der Provinz und dem italienischen Olympischen Komitee gesponsert. Die Treffen finden den ganzen Tag über statt und auch nachts im gleichen Tennisclub. Die letzte Ausgabe war ein Erfolg, zwischen den letzten Ball Challenges und Subnet Matches in einer einladenden und nicht nur kompetitiven Atmosphäre.
