DANCING TALES BY THE FIRE è un viaggio alla scoperta delle radici d’Irlanda. Le origini, i miti, le tradizioni e la cultura del popolo irlandese emergono con forza, insieme a temi legati a un passato tumultuoso che ha portato più volte nei secoli gli irlandesi a emigrare per trovare fortuna altrove.
Animati dalla voce narrante di un bardo, quasi fossero i personaggi di qualche mito lontano, seguiamo i protagonisti della vicenda che attraverso la danza, la musica e il canto, ci raccontano il carattere e la vita quotidiana della loro terra, spezzata da vicissitudini che li portano ad intraprendere il lungo viaggio verso l’America. È proprio qui che incontreranno una nuova cultura: la danza irlandese, simbolo del cuore d’Irlanda, incontra la tap dance americana.
E così, dall'incontro di queste due espressioni artistiche, nasce qualcosa di inedito, un nuovo sguardo verso il futuro che unisce in modo indissolubile queste due culture, creando un meraviglioso connubio di stili e ritmi travolgenti.

DANCING TALES BY THE FIRE is a journey to discover the roots of Ireland. The origins, myths, traditions, and culture of the Irish people emerge strongly, along with themes related to a tumultuous past that has led the Irish to emigrate multiple times over the centuries in search of fortune elsewhere.
Driven by the narrating voice of a bard, as if they were characters from some distant myth, we follow the protagonists of the story who, through dance, music, and song, tell us about the character and daily life of their land, which has been broken by events that lead them to embark on a long journey to America. It is right here that they will encounter a new culture: Irish dance, symbol of the heart of Ireland, meets American tap dance.
And so, from the meeting of these two artistic expressions, something unprecedented is born, a new outlook towards the future that unites these two cultures in an inseparable way, creating a wonderful fusion of styles and overwhelming rhythms.

DANCING TALES BY THE FIRE ist eine Reise zur Entdeckung der Wurzeln Irlands. Die Ursprünge, Mythen, Traditionen und die Kultur des irischen Volkes treten deutlich hervor, zusammen mit Themen, die mit einer turbulenten Vergangenheit verbunden sind, die die Iren im Laufe der Jahrhunderte mehrmals dazu gebracht hat, auszuwandern, um anderswo ihr Glück zu finden.
Bewegt durch die erzählende Stimme eines Barden, fast so als wären sie die Charaktere eines fernen Mythos, folgen wir den Protagonisten der Geschichte, die uns durch Tanz, Musik und Gesang den Charakter und das tägliche Leben ihrer Heimat erzählen, die von Schicksalsschlägen geprägt ist, die sie auf die lange Reise nach Amerika führen. Hier werden sie auf eine neue Kultur treffen: der irische Tanz, Symbol des Herzens Irlands, trifft auf den amerikanischen Stepptanz.
So entsteht aus der Begegnung dieser beiden künstlerischen Ausdrucksformen etwas Neues, ein neuer Blick in die Zukunft, der diese beiden Kulturen untrennbar verbindet und eine wunderbare Kombination aus Stilen und mitreißenden Rhythmen schafft.
