Serata di Canti Popolari con il Coro Asiago

Il "Coro Asiago" è stato fondato nel 1952 da un gruppo di amici facenti parte della "schola cantorum" parrocchiale, che decisero di ritrovarsi insieme per imparare i canti della S.A.T. di Trento, animati dalla passione per la montagna e per il canto, sostenuti dall'amicizia che si era creata tra loro.
Alcuni anni più tardi il Coro prese l'attuale nome di "Coro Asiago" e, con l'alternarsi dei vari Direttori, ha potuto realizzare tante e differenti esperienze.
Con il passare degli anni anche l'aspetto musicale ha subito una sua maturazione ed il Coro, nel passato più recente, ha rivolto la sua attenzione anche ad altri aspetti del canto popolare, a quella che viene definita la "nuova coralità", vista come possibilità di allargare i propri orizzonti per cercare nuove musicalità.
Il Coro è cresciuto insieme alle Comunità in cui è inserito e, di conseguenza, con lo sviluppo del turismo, l'attività è particolarmente intensa specialmente durante il periodo estivo ed invernale, allorché l'Altopiano è meta di numerosi turisti. Attualmente il Coro è formato da 33 elementi che provengono da vari Comuni dell'Altopiano; ciò gli ha permesso di crescere, numericamente e tecnicamente, assumendo una dimensione comprensoriale mai conosciuta prima.
Tradizione, riscoperta delle radici, nuove esperienze musicali: è su queste direttrici che il Coro Asiago oggi si sta muovendo, conscio del proprio ruolo all'interno del contesto sociale e culturale dell'Altopiano di Asiago.

Evening of Popular Songs with the Asiago Choir

The "Asiago Choir" was founded in 1952 by a group of friends from the parish "schola cantorum", who decided to come together to learn the songs of the S.A.T. of Trento, driven by their passion for the mountains and for singing, supported by the friendship that had developed among them.
A few years later, the Choir took on its current name of "Asiago Choir" and, with the succession of various Directors, was able to realize many different experiences.
Over the years, the musical aspect has also matured, and in more recent times, the Choir has turned its attention to other aspects of popular singing, to what is known as "new choralism," seen as an opportunity to broaden its horizons in search of new musicalities.
The Choir has grown alongside the Communities in which it is embedded, and consequently, with the development of tourism, the activity is particularly intense, especially during the summer and winter periods when the Plateau is a destination for numerous tourists. Currently, the Choir consists of 33 members who come from various Municipalities of the Plateau; this has allowed it to grow, both numerically and technically, achieving a regional dimension never seen before.
Tradition, rediscovery of roots, new musical experiences: it is along these lines that the Asiago Choir is moving today, aware of its role within the social and cultural context of the Asiago Plateau.

Abend der Volkslieder mit dem Coro Asiago

Der "Coro Asiago" wurde 1952 gegründet von einer Gruppe von Freunden, die Teil der örtlichen "Schola Cantorum" waren und entschlossen, sich zusammenzufinden, um die Lieder der S.A.T. in Trient zu lernen, beflügelt von der Leidenschaft für die Berge und das Singen, unterstützt durch die Freundschaft, die zwischen ihnen entstanden war.
Einige Jahre später erhielt der Chor den heutigen Namen "Coro Asiago" und konnte mit dem Wechsel der verschiedenen Dirigenten viele verschiedene Erfahrungen sammeln.
Im Laufe der Jahre hat sich auch der musikalische Aspekt weiterentwickelt, und der Chor hat in der jüngeren Vergangenheit auch seine Aufmerksamkeit anderen Aspekten des Volksgesangs gewidmet, der als "neue Chormusik" definiert wird, verstanden als Möglichkeit, die eigenen Horizonte zu erweitern und neue musikalische Ausdrucksformen zu suchen.
Der Chor ist zusammen mit den Gemeinschaften gewachsen, in die er eingebettet ist, und infolgedessen ist die Tätigkeit mit der Entwicklung des Tourismus besonders intensiv, besonders in den Sommer- und Wintermonaten, wenn das Hochplateau Ziel zahlreicher Touristen ist. Derzeit besteht der Chor aus 33 Mitgliedern, die aus verschiedenen Gemeinden des Hochplateaus stammen; dies hat ihm ermöglicht, sowohl quantitativ als auch qualitativ zu wachsen und eine noch nie dagewesene interkommunale Dimension anzunehmen.
Tradition, Wiederentdeckung der Wurzeln, neue musikalische Erfahrungen: auf diesen Wegen bewegt sich der Coro Asiago heute, sich seiner Rolle im sozialen und kulturellen Kontext des Hochplateaus von Asiago bewusst.
