Presentato al Festival di Cannes (Un Certain Regard) ha ricevuto 8 premi al David di Donatello 2026.
Un viaggio scanzonato e malinconico attraverso la campagna veneta, dove memoria e irriverenza viaggiano fianco a fianco, un road-movie ambientato in un territorio in piena trasformazione. “Le Città di Pianura” è stato prodotto da Vivo film con Rai Cinema in coproduzione con Maze Pictures Il film arriva nel territorio che custodisce uno dei suoi luoghi decisivi: il Memoriale Brion, dove sono ambientate le scene finali.
La proiezione non riporta semplicemente il film “nel territorio”, ma lo riconduce a uno dei suoi paesaggi reali: quello della pianura veneta raccontata da Sossai, tra strade, margini, paesi, transiti, malinconia e irriverenza.

Krano, nome artistico di Marco Spigariol, cantautore trevigiano originario di Valdobbiadene e figura di riferimento dell’underground veneto, che ha dato al film “Le Città di Pianura” una voce musicale profondamente radicata nel Nordest.
La sua prima colonna sonora originale uscita il 7 novembre 2025 per Maple Death Records, un outsider totale e al tempo stesso una figura di riferimento dell’underground europeo. Una musica che intreccia la desolazione del Piave e le nebbie della laguna con quel folk psichedelico, sospeso e allucinato, che da sempre caratterizza il cantautore veneto. La musica di Krano racconta il “Veneto profondo” cantando in dialetto ma con un suono che richiama la grande tradizione del folk americano degli anni ‘70, brani che oscillano tra la scioltezza di Nashville, il gotico italiano e ballate stregate.
La musica di Krano corre libera, oltre ogni confine, una distillazione di sogni infranti in bianco e nero.

A carefree and melancholic journey through the Venetian countryside, where memory and irreverence travel side by side, a road movie set in a territory undergoing ongoing transformation. “Le Città di Pianura” was produced by Vivo film in cooperation with Rai Cinema in co-production with Maze Pictures. The film arrives in the territory that hosts one of its crucial locations: the Brion Memorial, where the final scenes are set.
The screening does not simply bring the film “back to the territory,” but reconnects it to one of its real landscapes: that of the Venetian plain depicted by Sossai, among roads, edges, towns, transits, melancholy, and irreverence.

Krano, the stage name of Marco Spigariol, a singer-songwriter from Treviso originally from Valdobbiadene and a key figure of the Venetian underground, who has given the film “Le Città di Pianura” a musical voice deeply rooted in the Northeast.
His first original soundtrack was released on November 7, 2025, for Maple Death Records, a total outsider and at the same time a leading figure of the European underground. A music that intertwines the desolation of the Piave and the mists of the lagoon with that psychedelic, suspended, and hallucinatory folk, which has always characterized the Venetian singer-songwriter. Krano's music tells of the “deep Veneto,” singing in dialect but with a sound that recalls the great tradition of 1970s American folk, tracks that oscillate between the fluidity of Nashville, Italian gothic, and enchanted ballads.
Krano's music runs free, beyond every boundary, a distillation of shattered dreams in black and white.

Eine sorglose und melancholische Reise durch die venetische Landschaft, wo Erinnerung und Irreverenz Seite an Seite reisen, ein Road-Movie, das in einem Gebiet spielt, das sich im vollen Wandel befindet. “Le Città di Pianura” wurde von Vivo film in Koproduktion mit Rai Cinema und Maze Pictures produziert.
