Un racconto intimo e profondamente umano che attraversa i passaggi emotivi che ridefiniscono i legami familiari e gli equilibri della vita di una coppia.
Erika e Mauro vivono in provincia, dentro una quotidianità semplice fatta di abitudini rassicuranti e piccoli gesti. Quando la figlia Irene parte per studiare lontano, la casa si svuota e l’equilibrio su cui la coppia ha costruito la propria esistenza sembra incrinarsi. Erika, che ha sempre abitato il mondo attraverso la cura degli altri, si scopre improvvisamente senza direzione. Mauro, cresciuto nel rigore emotivo di un padre autoritario, tenta a suo modo di reagire riempiendo il vuoto, ma finisce per confrontarsi con una fragilità mai confessata. Nel tempo sospeso che segue riaffiorano ferite lontane e desideri dimenticati. Sarà proprio questa crisi intima e profonda a spingerli a guardarsi davvero e a capire se e come possono trasformare se stessi e di conseguenza il loro amore.

An intimate and profoundly human tale that traverses the emotional passages that redefine family ties and the balances in a couple's life.
Erika and Mauro live in the countryside, within a simple daily routine made of reassuring habits and small gestures. When their daughter Irene leaves to study far away, the house empties and the balance on which the couple has built their existence seems to crack. Erika, who has always inhabited the world through caring for others, suddenly finds herself directionless. Mauro, raised in the emotional rigor of an authoritarian father, tries in his own way to react by filling the void, but ends up confronting an unconfessed fragility. In the suspended time that follows, old wounds and forgotten desires resurface. It will be this intimate and deep crisis that drives them to truly look at each other and understand if and how they can transform themselves and consequently their love.

Eine intime und zutiefst menschliche Erzählung, die die emotionalen Übergänge durchläuft, die familiäre Bindungen und die Gleichgewichte im Leben eines Paares neu definieren.
Erika und Mauro leben auf dem Land, in einem einfachen Alltag geprägt von beruhigenden Gewohnheiten und kleinen Gesten. Als die Tochter Irene zum Studieren weggeht, leert sich das Haus und das Gleichgewicht, auf dem das Paar sein Leben aufgebaut hat, scheint zu bröckeln. Erika, die immer durch die Sorge um andere in der Welt gelebt hat, findet sich plötzlich ohne Richtung wieder. Mauro, der im emotionalen Strengen seines autoritären Vaters aufgewachsen ist, versucht auf seine Weise zu reagieren, um die Leere zu füllen, sieht sich aber mit einer nie gestandenem Zerbrechlichkeit konfrontiert. In der zeitlichen Aussetzung, die folgt, tauchen ferne Wunden und vergessene Wünsche wieder auf. Genau diese intime und tiefe Krise wird sie dazu drängen, sich wirklich anzusehen und zu verstehen, ob und wie sie sich selbst und damit ihre Liebe transformieren können.
