La scrittrice Erica Cassano presenta "Duramadre" che racconta la forza silenziosa di una donna, Celeste, una professoressa venuta da Napoli e approdata in un paesino della Calabria per amore, in un’Italia sospesa tra tradizione e cambiamento. Sullo sfondo, l’Italia che corre verso il boom economico, che sembra non toccare “quella terra aspra e dura come una madre che non perdona”.

Die Schriftstellerin Erica Cassano präsentiert "Duramadre", das die stille Stärke einer Frau erzählt, Celeste, eine Professorin aus Neapel, die aus Liebe in ein kleines Dorf in Kalabrien gekommen ist, in einem Italien, das zwischen Tradition und Wandel schwebt. Im Hintergrund das Italien, das auf den Wirtschaftsboom zusteuert, das „dieses raue und harte Land wie eine unversöhnliche Mutter“ zu ignorieren scheint.
