Nora and Agnes are two deeply connected sisters. Knowing Nora's talent as an actress, Gustav wants his daughter to play the leading role in the film that is supposed to relaunch his career; she refuses, and that part goes to a young Hollywood star, Rachel Kemp. Her arrival disrupts the delicate dynamics of the family: for the two sisters, it will be the moment to confront their father and their past.
