Torna la rassegna cinematografica sul tema dei diritti, impegno civile e partecipazione nel giardino del Museo Villa Bassi Rathgeb.
Il film "Il maestro" è diretto da Andrea Di Stefano e vede come protagonistra Pierfrancesco Favino. Estate, fine anni ‘80. Dopo anni di allenamenti e regole ferree, Felice, 13 anni e sulle spalle tutte le aspettative paterne, arriva ad affrontare i tornei nazionali di tennis. Per prepararlo al meglio, il padre lo affida all’ex campione Raul Gatti, che vanta addirittura un ottavo di finale al Foro Italico. Di partita in partita, i due iniziano un viaggio lungo la costa italiana che tra sconfitte, bugie ed incontri bizzarri, porterà Felice a scoprire il sapore della libertà e Raul a intravedere la possibilità di un nuovo inizio. Così, in questa strana estate, tra i due nasce un legame profondo e inatteso.

The film "The Master" is directed by Andrea Di Stefano and stars Pierfrancesco Favino. Summer, late 1980s. After years of training and strict rules, Felice, 13 years old and carrying all his father's expectations, faces the national tennis tournaments. To prepare him properly, his father entrusts him to former champion Raul Gatti, who even boasts a round of 16 appearance at the Foro Italico. Game after game, the two embark on a journey along the Italian coast that, amid defeats, lies, and bizarre encounters, will lead Felice to discover the taste of freedom and Raul to glimpse the possibility of a new beginning. Thus, in this strange summer, a deep and unexpected bond forms between the two.

Nach Jahren des Trainings und strenger Regeln steht Felice, 13 Jahre alt und mit den Erwartungen seines Vaters beladen, vor den nationalen Tennisturnieren. Um ihn bestmöglich vorzubereiten, überlässt der Vater ihn dem ehemaligen Champion Raul Gatti, der sogar im Achtelfinale des Foro Italico war. Von Spiel zu Spiel beginnen die beiden eine Reise entlang der italienischen Küste, die Felice, zwischen Niederlagen, Lügen und skurrilen Begegnungen, den Geschmack der Freiheit entdecken lässt und Raul die Möglichkeit eines Neuanfangs erkennen lässt. So entsteht in diesem seltsamen Sommer eine tiefe und unerwartete Verbindung zwischen den beiden.
