Prima assoluta italiana della realtà teatrale veronese Spazio Teatro Giovani per Estate Teatrale Veronese, su una rilettura contemporanea del mito di Edipo ed incentrata sulle lettere lasciate dalla madre Nawal.
Ospitato al Parco di Santa Toscana, lo spettacolo narra la storia di due fratelli che si mettono in viaggio per conoscere il mistero della loro origine, cercando un padre che essi credono morto, e un fratello di cui ignorano l’esistenza.
La vicenda assume il carattere dell’inchiesta e, proprio come nel mito di Edipo, i due ragazzi inseguono un enigma che li porterà lungo i sentieri di un paese lontano e rimosso, paese di guerre fratricide, sulle orme della storia della madre e di se stessi.
La ricerca dei due fratelli si trasforma nell’epopea dell’uomo la cui vita viene stravolta e snaturata dall’assurdità di guerre senza fine che scandiscono la storia del mondo.

Hosted at Parco di Santa Toscana, the show tells the story of two brothers who embark on a journey to uncover the mystery of their origins, searching for a father they believe is dead, and a brother whose existence they are unaware of.
The plot takes on the character of an investigation, and just like in the myth of Oedipus, the two boys chase a puzzle that will lead them along the paths of a distant and removed country, a land of fratricidal wars, in the footsteps of their mother's history and their own.
The quest of the two brothers transforms into the epic of a man whose life is turned upside down and distorted by the absurdity of endless wars that mark the history of the world.
Uraufführung der veronesischen Theaterrealität Spazio Teatro Giovani für die Estate Teatrale Veronese, basierend auf einer zeitgenössischen Neuinterpretation des Mythos von Ödipus und konzentriert sich auf die Briefe, die von der Mutter Nawal hinterlassen wurden.
Gastgeber im Parco di Santa Toscana, erzählt das Stück die Geschichte von zwei Brüdern, die sich auf eine Reise begeben, um das Geheimnis ihrer Herkunft zu erfahren, auf der Suche nach einem Vater, den sie für tot halten, und einem Bruder, dessen Existenz ihnen unbekannt ist.
Die Handlung nimmt den Charakter einer Ermittlung an und genau wie im Mythos von Ödipus verfolgen die beiden Jungen ein Rätsel, das sie auf die Pfade eines fernen und vergessenen Landes führt, ein Land der Bruderkriege, auf den Spuren der Geschichte ihrer Mutter und ihrer selbst.
Die Suche der beiden Brüder verwandelt sich in das Epos des Menschen, dessen Leben durch die Absurdität endloser Kriege, die die Geschichte der Welt prägen, Umgestaltet und entstellt wird.
