La rassegna Sile Jazz prosegue sabato 11 luglio alle ore 21:00 con il concerto dell'Oscar del Barba Ox Quartet.
Con Somewhere Story, pubblicato da nusica.org nel 2025, l’Oscar Del Barba OX Quartet rilegge West Side Story di Leonard Bernstein trasformandola in uno spazio aperto all’improvvisazione, alla ricerca timbrica e al dialogo tra acustico ed elettronico. Partendo dai temi della celebre opera del compositore americano, il quartetto costruisce una rilettura personale che attraversa jazz contemporaneo, rock progressive e suggestioni elettroniche mantenendo intatta la forza melodica della scrittura bernsteiniana.

Dal 5 giugno al 25 luglio, la nuova edizione di Sile Jazz – Altri Argini trasforma le province di Treviso e Venezia in un grande teatro diffuso, dove la musica si spinge oltre i confini tradizionali attraverso 20 concerti in luoghi del tutto insoliti.
Sotto la direzione artistica di Alessandro Fedrigo per nusica.org, il festival tesse una trama di jazz contemporaneo europeo, muovendosi con audacia tra scrittura, sperimentazione ed elettronica.

The Sile Jazz review continues on Saturday, July 11 at 9:00 p.m. with a concert by the Oscar Del Barba Ox Quartet.
With Somewhere Story, released by nusica.org in 2025, the Oscar Del Barba OX Quartet reinterprets West Side Story by Leonard Bernstein, transforming it into an open space for improvisation, sound exploration, and dialogue between acoustic and electronic. Starting from the themes of the famous opera by the American composer, the quartet builds a personal reinterpretation that traverses contemporary jazz, progressive rock, and electronic suggestions while preserving the melodic strength of Bernstein's writing.

From June 5 to July 25, the new edition of Sile Jazz – Altri Argini transforms the provinces of Treviso and Venice into a large distributed theater, where music pushes beyond traditional boundaries through 20 concerts in entirely unusual places.
Under the artistic direction of Alessandro Fedrigo for nusica.org, the festival weaves a tapestry of European contemporary jazz, boldly moving between composition, experimentation, and electronics.

Das Sile Jazz Festival geht weiter am Samstag, den 11. Juli um 21:00 Uhr mit dem Konzert des Oscar del Barba Ox Quartet.
Mit Somewhere Story, veröffentlicht von nusica.org im Jahr 2025, interpretiert das Oscar Del Barba OX Quartet West Side Story von Leonard Bernstein und verwandelt sie in einen Raum für Improvisation, klangliche Suche und den Dialog zwischen Akustik und Elektronik. Ausgehend von den Themen des berühmten Werkes des amerikanischen Komponisten konstruiert das Quartet eine persönliche Neuinterpretation, die durch zeitgenößischen Jazz, progressiven Rock und elektronische Anklänge prägt, während die melodische Kraft der bernsteinischen Komposition erhalten bleibt.

Vom 5. Juni bis 25. Juli verwandelt die neue Ausgabe von Sile Jazz – Altri Argi die Provinzen Treviso und Venedig in ein großes, verbreitetes Theater, in dem die Musik über die traditionellen Grenzen hinausgeht und 20 Konzerte an völlig ungewöhnlichen Orten stattfinden.
Unter der künstlerischen Leitung von Alessandro Fedrigo für nusica.org webt das Festival ein Netz aus zeitgenössischem europäischem Jazz, das mutig zwischen Komposition, Experimentation und Elektronik navigiert.
