Escursione di Trekking con gli asini al Monte Lèmerle per rivivere le fasi cruciali della Strafexpedition, che proprio in questi monti si riversò pesantemente sui nostri soldati posti a difesa come ultimo baluardo sulla pianura Veneta.Grazie a loro infatti, si impedì alle truppe austroungariche di scendere nella pianura Veneta, da dove avrebbero potuto facilmente avanzare fino alle grandi città con conseguenze drammatiche.
Ammireremo inoltre alcune fortificazioni dell'esercito britannico, che in quegli anni venne inviato a combattere sulle nostre montagne a sostegno delle truppe italiane.
L'escursione avrà inizio alle ore 9.30 e terminerà alle 12.30
INFORMAZIONI:
PARTENZA: Ore 9:30 presso il parcheggio del Palaciclamino di Cesuna
DISLIVELLO: 200 m LUNGHEZZA: 7 km totali circa
DA PORTARE IN ESCURSIONE: scarponi da montagna, pantaloni lunghi, vestiario a strati, cappellino e crema solare. Da non dimenticare acqua per l'intera durata dell'escursione (almeno 1.5 litri) in quanto durante i percorso non sono presenti punti di approvvigionamento d'acqua.

Trekking excursion with donkeys to Monte Lèmerle to relive the crucial phases of the Strafexpedition, which heavily impacted our soldiers stationed as the last stronghold on the Venetian plain. Thanks to them, the Austro-Hungarian troops were prevented from descending into the Venetian plain, from where they could have easily advanced to the major cities with dramatic consequences.
We will also admire some fortifications of the British army, which was sent to fight in our mountains in support of the Italian troops during those years.
The excursion will start at 9:30 a.m. and end at 12:30 p.m.
INFORMATION:
DEPARTURE: 9:30 a.m. at the Palaciclamino parking lot in Cesuna
ASCENT: 200 m LENGTH: approximately 7 km total
WHAT TO BRING ON THE EXCURSION: mountain boots, long pants, layered clothing, a hat, and sunscreen. Don’t forget water for the entire duration of the excursion (at least 1.5 liters) as there are no water supply points along the route.
COST: € 20.00 for adults - € 15.00 for children under 15 years

Wanderung mit Eseln zum Monte Lèmerle, um die entscheidenden Phasen der Strafexpedition nachzuvollziehen, die sich gerade in diesen Bergen drastisch auf unsere Soldaten auswirkte, die als letzter Schutzwall in der venetischen Tiefebene stationiert waren. Dank ihnen wurde verhindert, dass die österreichisch-ungarischen Truppen in die venetische Ebene vorrücken konnten, von wo aus sie leicht bis zu den großen Städten hätten gelangen können, mit dramatischen Konsequenzen.
Wir werden auch einige Befestigungen der britischen Armee bewundern, die in diesen Jahren zur Unterstützung der italienischen Truppen in unsere Berge geschickt wurde.
Die Wanderung beginnt um 9.30 Uhr und endet um 12.30 Uhr

FÜR DIE WANDERUNG MITBRINGEN: Wanderschuhe, lange Hosen, Schichten von Kleidung, eine Kappe und Sonnencreme. Vergessen Sie nicht, Wasser für die gesamte Dauer der Wanderung (mindestens 1,5 Liter) mitzubringen, da auf dem Weg keine Wasserstellen vorhanden sind.
