La mostra Arte in punta d’ago. Disegni e ricami raccontano il Museo Bottacin rappresenta la tappa conclusiva di un percorso di animazione culturale che ha coinvolto il Museo Bottacin, i licei artistici Modigliani e Selvatico e l’associazione Padova Ricama l’Arte.
Il progetto prende le mosse dal Museo Bottacin, fondato grazie alla generosità di Nicola Bottacin, che nel 1865 donò alla città una straordinaria collezione di monete, medaglie e opere d’arte. Gli studenti dei licei, dopo aver visitato il museo, hanno realizzato tavole ispirate alle collezioni, concentrandosi ora su piccoli dettagli, ora sull’insieme degli oggetti. Da questi disegni, le socie dell’associazione Padova Ricama l’Arte hanno tratto i motivi per i loro raffinati lavori ad ago, testimoni di un’arte antica reinterpretata con sensibilità contemporanea.
Una prima selezione dei lavori era stata esposta dal 23 maggio al 29 agosto al Museo Bottacin, nella mostra "Contaminazioni d’arte". Nella Sala della Gran Guardia sarà ora possibile ammirare l’intero corpus di ricami e disegni, in un percorso che mette in dialogo creatività giovanile e sapienza artigiana, tradizione e innovazione. Al di là dell’elevato valore artistico, la mostra sottolinea l’importanza di conoscere e valorizzare i beni culturali del territorio.

The exhibition Art at the Tip of the Needle. Drawings and Embroidery Tell the Bottacin Museum represents the final stage of a cultural outreach program that has involved the Bottacin Museum, the Modigliani and Selvatico art high schools, and the association Padova Ricama l’Arte.
The project originates from the Bottacin Museum, founded thanks to the generosity of Nicola Bottacin, who donated an extraordinary collection of coins, medals, and works of art to the city in 1865. After visiting the museum, the high school students created boards inspired by the collections, focusing both on small details and on the overall assembly of objects. From these drawings, the members of the association Padova Ricama l’Arte derived motifs for their refined needlework, testifying to an ancient art reinterpreted with contemporary sensitivity.
A first selection of the works was displayed from May 23 to August 29 at the Bottacin Museum, in the exhibition "Art Contaminations." In the Sala della Gran Guardia it will now be possible to admire the entire corpus of embroidery and drawings, in a path that puts youth creativity and artisanal wisdom, tradition and innovation in dialogue. Beyond its high artistic value, the exhibition highlights the importance of knowing and enhancing the cultural assets of the territory.

Die Ausstellung Kunst auf Nadelspitzen. Zeichnungen und Stickereien erzählen das Museo Bottacin stellt die abschließende Etappe eines kulturellen Animationsprojekts dar, das das Museo Bottacin, die Kunstgymnasien Modigliani und Selvatico sowie die Vereinigung Padova Ricama l’Arte einbezogen hat.
Das Projekt hat seinen Ursprung im Museo Bottacin, das dank der Großzügigkeit von Nicola Bottacin gegründet wurde, der der Stadt 1865 eine außergewöhnliche Sammlung von Münzen, Medaillen und Kunstwerken geschenkt hat. Die Schüler der Gymnasien haben nach dem Besuch des Museums Tafeln inspiriert von den Sammlungen erstellt, wobei sie sich sowohl auf kleine Details als auch auf das Gesamtbild der Objekte konzentriert haben. Aus diesen Zeichnungen haben die Mitglieder der Vereinigung Padova Ricama l’Arte die Motive für ihre raffinierten Näharbeiten abgeleitet, die von einer alten Kunst zeugen, die mit zeitgenössischem Empfinden neu interpretiert wird.
Eine erste Auswahl der Arbeiten wurde vom 23. Mai bis 29. August im Museo Bottacin in der Ausstellung "Kunst-Kontaminationen" gezeigt. In der Sala della Gran Guardia wird nun die gesamte Sammlung von Stickereien und Zeichnungen zu bewundern sein, in einem Rundgang, der die jugendliche Kreativität und das handwerkliche Wissen, Tradition und Innovation in Dialog bringt. Über den hohen künstlerischen Wert hinaus betont die Ausstellung die Wichtigkeit, das kulturelle Erbe der Region zu kennen und zu schätzen.
