La Città di Lendinara, grazie a Fondazione Rovigo Cultura, si prepara ad accogliere una serata speciale dedicata alla grande tradizione operistica italiana.
Lo splendido scenario del Giardino della Cittadella della Cultura di Palazzo Boldrin farà da palcoscenico a una delle opere più celebri, amate e rappresentate del repertorio settecentesco: “La Serva Padrona” di Giovanni Battista Pergolesi.
Composta originariamente come intermezzo buffo, l'opera racconta con straordinaria freschezza e arguzia le vicende del ricco e brontolone Uberto e della sua astuta serva Serpina che, con stratagemmi e divertenti malintesi, riuscirà a farsi sposare diventando a tutti gli effetti la "padrona" di casa.
Un'occasione unica per godersi uno spettacolo frizzante, ironico e ricco di ritmo, capace di coinvolgere sia gli appassionati di lirica sia i neofiti del genere. Originally composed as a comic intermezzo, the opera tells, with extraordinary freshness and wit, the stories of the wealthy and grumpy Uberto and his cunning servant Serpina, who, through tricks and amusing misunderstandings, manages to get married and thus become the "mistress" of the house.
