Il festival Sile Jazz fa tappa a Villa Lattes, in Via Nazario Sauro 50 a Istrana, domenica 14 giugno alle ore 21:00 con il concerto del Convergence Quartet.
Il progetto è guidato dal batterista e compositore trevigiano Max Trabucco, che porta sul palco una formazione costruita attorno al dialogo costante tra sax, trombone, contrabbasso e batteria, dove le linee melodiche e i colori timbrici si sovrappongono e si trasformano in modo continuo.
Insieme al leader, la formazione schiera tre musicisti tra i più interessanti della scena jazz contemporanea italiana: Federica Michisanti al contrabbasso, Manuel Caliumi al sax e Federico Pierantoni al trombone. Frutto di oltre due anni di ricerca e sperimentazione, il lavoro esplora la convergenza tra linee musicali autonome che si intrecciano tra scrittura e improvvisazione.
La performance propone così una musica dinamica e aperta, capace di attraversare il jazz contemporaneo e l'improvvisazione libera mantenendo una forte coerenza espressiva, e presenta dal vivo i brani di Convergence, l'album pubblicato da Abeat Records nel 2025 che conferma il percorso di ricerca sonora e costruzione collettiva del suono di Max Trabucco.

Dal 5 giugno al 25 luglio, la nuova edizione di Sile Jazz – Altri Argini trasforma le province di Treviso e Venezia in un grande teatro diffuso, dove la musica si spinge oltre i confini tradizionali attraverso 20 concerti in luoghi del tutto insoliti.
Sotto la direzione artistica di Alessandro Fedrigo per nusica.org, il festival tesse una trama di jazz contemporaneo europeo, muovendosi con audacia tra scrittura, sperimentazione ed elettronica.

The Sile Jazz festival stops at Villa Lattes, at Via Nazario Sauro 50 in Istrana, on Sunday, June 14 at 9:00 p.m. with a concert by the Convergence Quartet.
The project is led by the Treviso drummer and composer Max Trabucco, who brings to the stage a group built around the constant dialogue between sax, trombone, double bass, and drums, where melodic lines and timbral colors overlap and transform continuously.
Together with the leader, the lineup features three of the most interesting musicians in the contemporary Italian jazz scene: Federica Michisanti on double bass, Manuel Caliumi on sax, and Federico Pierantoni on trombone. The result of over two years of research and experimentation, the work explores the convergence of autonomous musical lines that intertwine between composition and improvisation.
The performance thus offers dynamic and open music, capable of traversing contemporary jazz and free improvisation while maintaining a strong expressive coherence, and presents live tracks from Convergence, the album released by Abeat Records in 2025 that confirms Max Trabucco’s journey of sound research and collective sound construction.

From June 5 to July 25, the new edition of Sile Jazz – Altri Argini transforms the provinces of Treviso and Venice into a large distributed theater, where music pushes beyond traditional boundaries through 20 concerts in entirely unusual locations.

Das Sile Jazz Festival macht Halt in Villa Lattes, in der Via Nazario Sauro 50 in Istrana, am Sonntag, den 14. Juni um 21:00 Uhr mit einem Konzert des Convergence Quartet.
Das Projekt wird von dem Trommler und Komponisten aus Treviso Max Trabucco geleitet, der eine Formation auf die Bühne bringt, die um den ständigen Dialog zwischen Saxophon, Posaune, Kontrabass und Schlagzeug herum aufgebaut ist, wo sich melodische Linien und Klangfarben kontinuierlich überlagern und verwandeln.
Zusammen mit dem Leiter besteht die Formation aus drei der interessantesten Musiker der zeitgenössischen italienischen Jazzszene: Federica Michisanti am Kontrabass, Manuel Caliumi am Saxophon und Federico Pierantoni an der Posaune. Das Ergebnis von über zwei Jahren Forschung und Experimentation, die Arbeit erkundet die Konvergenz zwischen autonomen musikalischen Linien, die sich zwischen Komposition und Improvisation verweben.
Die Performance bietet so eine dynamische und offene Musik, die in der Lage ist, durch den zeitgenössischen Jazz und die freie Improvisation zu navigieren, während sie eine starke expressive Kohärenz beibehält, und präsentiert live die Stücke von Convergence, dem Album, das 2025 von Abeat Records veröffentlicht wurde und den klanglichen Forschungsprozess und die kollektive Klangkonstruktion von Max Trabucco bestätigt.

Vom 5. Juni bis 25. Juli verwandelt die neue Ausgabe von Sile Jazz – Altri Argini die Provinzen Treviso und Venedig in ein großes verteiltes Theater, in dem die Musik über die traditionellen Grenzen hinausgeht, durch 20 Konzerte an völlig ungewöhnlichen Orten.
Unter der künstlerischen Leitung von Alessandro Fedrigo für nusica.org webt das Festival einen Teppich aus europäischem zeitgenössischen Jazz, der sich mutig zwischen Komposition, Experimentation und Elektronik bewegt.
