Il comune di Garda, sulle sponde veronesi del lago, ospiterà sei giorni di proiezioni, incontri con gli autori e protagonisti del cinema italiano in un paesaggio dal fascino unico.
Il nuovo Film Festival “ Garda Cinema” diretto dal giornalista e critico cinematografico Franco Dassisti, e organizzato dall'Associazione Decima Musa, si svolge in collaborazione con il Comune di Garda e altri enti, con il patrocinio di Regione Veneto e Provincia di Verona. Le location principali sono il cortile del Municipio e la Sala Congressi di Garda, con proiezioni, incontri con ospiti e mostre d'arte. La serata di pre apertura sarà dedicata a Isabella Ferrari, premiata con il Premio Shooting Star, che presenterà il film "Nel tepore del ballo" di Pupi Avati e parteciperà a un dibattito sulla sua carriera.
Il Festival include anche un Concorso Internazionale Cortometraggi, con 33 opere provenienti da tutto il mondo, suddivise tra fiction e documentari, tutte in dialogo con il tema centrale. La giuria assegnerà poi premi per le categorie in concorso e un riconoscimento speciale alla cultura. Tra i protagonisti attesi come ospiti saranno presenti Giorgio Pasotti, Milvia Marigliano, Massimiliano Gallo, Giovanni Esposito e Francesco Mandelli.
Il Festival promuove anche mostre d'arte, come quella di Pasqualin Milesi, e la manifestazione mira a valorizzare il territorio di Garda attraverso il cinema e le arti visive, rafforzando l'immagine culturale del lago e creando opportunità di incontro e crescita.
Il Garda Cinema Festival 2026 si configura come un evento di grande richiamo culturale, con un forte impegno nel dialogo tra cinema, arte e territorio, puntando sulla riflessione collettiva sul tema della felicità e sulla promozione di nuovi talenti e produzioni di qualità.

Das Festival umfasst auch einen Internationalen Kurzfilm-Wettbewerb mit 33 Werken aus aller Welt, die zwischen Fiktion und Dokumentarfilmen aufgeteilt sind und alle im Dialog mit dem zentralen Thema stehen. Die Jury wird dann Preise in den Wettbewerbs-Kategorien vergeben sowie eine spezielle Auszeichnung für die Kultur.
