Chioggia si prepara a celebrare uno degli appuntamenti più sentiti e identitari dell’anno: la Solennità dei Santi Martiri Felice e Fortunato, patroni che da secoli custodiscono la storia e la devozione della città.
Giovani fratelli vicentini, martirizzati durante le persecuzioni di Diocleziano, giunsero a Chioggia nel 1110, dove le loro reliquie sono oggi venerate nella maestosa Cattedrale di Santa Maria Assunta.
Il programma 2026 offre tre giornate ricche di spiritualità, tradizione e cultura.
Il 10 giugno la processione con le reliquie partirà dalla Chiesa di Sant’Andrea, seguita dal solenne Pontificale presieduto dal vescovo Giampaolo.
L’11 giugno, cuore della festa, si susseguiranno le messe dedicate alla città e ai vicariati, mentre alle 18:00 la grande processione da Piazzetta Vigo accompagnerà i fedeli verso la cattedrale, aperta fino a mezzanotte per la venerazione.
Alle 18:30 è in programma anche l’attesa Inaugurazione della Torre di Sant’Andrea – Museo dell’Orologio, un evento culturale di grande rilievo.
Corso del Popolo si animerà con le tradizionali bancarelle tra colori, profumi e sapori tipici.
Il 14 giugno, un concerto nella Chiesa di Santa Caterina chiuderà i festeggiamenti, celebrando ancora una volta la profonda unione tra Chioggia e i suoi santi patroni.
Chioggia is preparing to celebrate one of the most heartfelt and defining events of the year: the Solemnity of Saints Martyrs Felice and Fortunato, patrons who have safeguarded the history and devotion of the city for centuries.
Young brothers from Vicenza, martyred during the persecutions of Diocletian, arrived in Chioggia in 1110, where their relics are now venerated in the majestic Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta.
The 2026 program offers three days filled with spirituality, tradition, and culture.
On June 10, the procession with the relics will depart from the Church of Sant'Andrea, followed by the solemn Pontifical Mass presided over by Bishop Giampaolo.
On June 11, the heart of the festival, masses dedicated to the city and the vicariates will take place, while at 6:00 p.m. the grand procession from Piazzetta Vigo will lead the faithful towards the cathedral, which will be open until midnight for veneration.
At 6:30 p.m., the highly anticipated inauguration of the Torre di Sant'Andrea – Clock Museum is also scheduled, a culturally significant event.
Corso del Popolo will come alive with traditional stalls amidst colors, aromas, and typical flavors.
On June 14, a concert in the Church of Santa Caterina will conclude the festivities, once again celebrating the deep bond between Chioggia and its patron saints.
Chioggia bereitet sich darauf vor, einen der gefühlvollsten und identitätsstiftenden Termine des Jahres zu feiern: das Fest der Heiligen Märtyrer Felice und Fortunato, Patrone, die seit Jahrhunderten die Geschichte und die Hingabe der Stadt bewahren.
Junge Brüder aus Vicenza, die während der Verfolgungen unter Diokletian gemartert wurden, kamen 1110 nach Chioggia, wo ihre Reliquien heute in der majestätischen Kathedrale Santa Maria Assunta verehrt werden.
Das Programm 2026 bietet drei Tage voller Spiritualität, Tradition und Kultur.
Am 10. Juni wird die Prozession mit den Reliquien von der Kirche Sant’Andrea starten, gefolgt von der feierlichen Pontifikalmesse, die von Bischof Giampaolo geleitet wird.
Am 11. Juni, dem Herzstück des Festes, werden die Messen für die Stadt und die Vikare stattfinden, während um 18:00 Uhr die große Prozession von der Piazzetta Vigo die Gläubigen zur Kathedrale begleiten wird, die bis Mitternacht zur Verehrung geöffnet ist.
Um 18:30 Uhr ist auch die mit Spannung erwartete Eröffnung des Turms von Sant’Andrea – Museum der Uhr geplant, eine kulturelle Veranstaltung von großer Bedeutung.
Der Corso del Popolo wird sich mit den traditionellen Ständen zwischen Farben, Düften und typischen Geschmäckern beleben.
Am 14. Juni wird ein Konzert in der Kirche Santa Caterina die Feierlichkeiten abschließen und erneut die tiefe Verbindung zwischen Chioggia und seinen heiligen Patrone feiern.
