Sottosopra nasce a Castelfranco Veneto nel 2017 da un gruppo di ragazzi che si è posto da subito l’obiettivo di trasmettere un punto di vista differente sulla normalità: rovesciandola e guardandola con uno sguardo nuovo, come suggerisce il nome del progetto.
Concretamente il collettivo, diventato poi associazione, ha sfruttato spazi in disuso o sottoutilizzati per proporre eventi, incontri ed esibizioni in formati non convenzionali.

Sottosopra was born in Castelfranco Veneto in 2017 from a group of young people who immediately set out to convey a different perspective on normality: turning it upside down and looking at it with a new gaze, as suggested by the name of the project.
Specifically, the collective, which later became an association, has utilized unused or underutilized spaces to propose events, meetings, and performances in unconventional formats.

Sottosopra wurde 2017 in Castelfranco Veneto von einer Gruppe junger Leute gegründet, die sich von Beginn an das Ziel gesetzt hat, eine andere Perspektive auf die Normalität zu vermitteln: sie umzukehren und mit einem neuen Blickwinkel zu betrachten, wie der Name des Projekts nahelegt.
Konkreterweise hat das Kollektiv, das später zu einem Verein wurde, ungenutzte oder untergenutzte Räume genutzt, um Veranstaltungen, Treffen und Aufführungen in unkonventionellen Formaten anzubieten.
