Serata dedicata alla grande arte del Novecento con Matteo Vanzan, storico dell'arte e curatore della mostra "Futurism: prophecy and revolution", attualmente aperta al pubblico presso il Centro Culturale "A. Bafile" fino al 6 settembre.
L'incontro offrirà al pubblico l'opportunità di entrare nel cuore della mostra, scoprendo le storie, le idee e gli artisti che hanno dato vita a uno dei movimenti più rivoluzionari della cultura italiana. Attraverso immagini, aneddoti e curiosità, Vanzan accompagnerà gli spettatori in un viaggio tra le opere esposte, raccontando come il Futurismo abbia trasformato il modo di concepire l'arte, la velocità, la tecnologia e la modernità.
La serata sarà anche l'occasione per presentare in anteprima la prossima grande esposizione che aprirà a novembre al Centro Culturale Andrea Bafile: "Paris: Terre d'Italiens".
La mostra ripercorrerà oltre mezzo secolo di rapporti tra gli artisti italiani e la capitale francese, raccontando come Parigi sia stata il grande laboratorio della modernità e il punto d'incontro delle avanguardie europee. Attraverso dipinti, sculture e documenti, il percorso espositivo seguirà le vicende dei protagonisti italiani che trovarono nella Ville Lumière un luogo di libertà creativa e confronto internazionale, fino al progressivo declino del primato artistico parigino nel secondo dopoguerra, quando il baricentro dell'arte contemporanea iniziò a spostarsi verso New York.
Evening dedicated to the great art of the 20th century with Matteo Vanzan, art historian and curator of the exhibition "Futurism: prophecy and revolution," currently open to the public at the Cultural Center "A. Bafile" until September 6.
The meeting will offer the public the opportunity to delve into the heart of the exhibition, discovering the stories, ideas, and artists who brought to life one of the most revolutionary movements in Italian culture. Through images, anecdotes, and curiosities, Vanzan will guide the audience on a journey through the displayed works, narrating how Futurism transformed the way of conceiving art, speed, technology, and modernity.
The evening will also be an opportunity to preview the upcoming major exhibition opening in November at the Andrea Bafile Cultural Center: "Paris: Terre d'Italiens."
The exhibition will trace over half a century of relationships between Italian artists and the French capital, narrating how Paris was the grand laboratory of modernity and the meeting point of European avant-gardes. Through paintings, sculptures, and documents, the exhibition will follow the events of the Italian protagonists who found in the City of Light a place of creative freedom and international dialogue, up to the gradual decline of Paris's artistic primacy in the post-World War II period, when the center of contemporary art began to shift towards New York.
Abend der großen Kunst des 20. Jahrhunderts mit Matteo Vanzan, Kunsthistoriker und Kurator der Ausstellung "Futurismus: Prophezeiung und Revolution", die derzeit für die Öffentlichkeit im Kulturzentrum "A. Bafile" bis zum 6. September geöffnet ist.
Das Treffen bietet dem Publikum die Möglichkeit, in das Herz der Ausstellung einzutauchen, die Geschichten, Ideen und Künstler zu entdecken, die einen der revolutionärsten Bewegungen der italienischen Kultur Leben eingehaucht haben. Anhand von Bildern, Anekdoten und Kuriositäten wird Vanzan die Zuschauer auf eine Reise durch die ausgestellten Werke begleiten und erzählen, wie der Futurismus die Auffassung von Kunst, Geschwindigkeit, Technologie und Modernität transformiert hat.
Der Abend wird auch die Gelegenheit bieten, die nächste große Ausstellung vorzustellen, die im November im Kulturzentrum Andrea Bafile eröffnet wird: "Paris: Terre d'Italiens".
Die Ausstellung wird über ein halbes Jahrhundert der Beziehungen zwischen italienischen Künstlern und der französischen Hauptstadt nachzeichnen und erzählen, wie Paris das große Labor der Modernität und den Treffpunkt der europäischen Avantgarden war. Anhand von Gemälden, Skulpturen und Dokumenten wird der Ausstellungsweg die Schicksale der italienischen Protagonisten verfolgen, die in der Ville Lumière einen Ort der kreativen Freiheit und des internationalen Austauschs fanden, bis zum allmählichen Rückgang der künstlerischen Vorherrschaft von Paris im Nachkrieg, als der Schwerpunkt der zeitgenössischen Kunst begann, nach New York zu wandern.
