Domenica 19 ottobre si terrà la rappresentazione teatrale Trieste 1954, presso il Teatro Comunale Dino Buzzati.
In questo spettacolo Simone Cristicchi rappresenta l’unicità della meravigliosa città di Trieste. Definendola una città “a doppio passo”, veloce e dinamica eppure a lungo immobilizzata. E poi “a doppio tempo” come nel caso del primissimo dopo guerra dove l’Italia venne liberata nel 1945 e Trieste solo nel 1954. Nello spettacolo si evidenziano il coraggio e lo spirito con cui Trieste e i triestini hanno saputo affrontare tutto ciò che il corso della storia ha posto davanti loro. Il celebre artista fra musica e parole, servendosi di materiale audiovisivo fornito dalla sede Rai regionale, racconterà le emozioni e i pensieri del popolo triestino nei giorni precedenti a quel 26 ottobre 1954 in cui Trieste si ricongiunse all’Italia.

On Sunday, October 19th, the theatrical performance Trieste 1954 will take place at the Teatro Comunale Dino Buzzati.
In this performance, Simone Cristicchi represents the uniqueness of the wonderful city of Trieste. He defines it as a city “with a double step,” fast and dynamic yet long immobilized. And then “in double time,” as in the case of the early post-war period when Italy was liberated in 1945 and Trieste only in 1954. The performance highlights the courage and spirit with which Trieste and its people have faced everything that the course of history has placed before them. The famous artist, weaving together music and words, utilizing audiovisual material provided by the regional Rai headquarters, will narrate the emotions and thoughts of the people of Trieste in the days leading up to that October 26, 1954, when Trieste reunited with Italy.

Am Sonntag, den 19. Oktober, findet die Theateraufführung Triest 1954 im Teatro Comunale Dino Buzzati statt.
In dieser Vorstellung repräsentiert Simone Cristicchi die Einzigartigkeit der wunderbaren Stadt Triest. Er definiert sie als eine „Zweifachstadt“, schnell und dynamisch und doch lange Zeit stillgelegt. Und dann „mit doppelter Zeit“, wie im Fall der unmittelbaren Nachkriegszeit, als Italien 1945 befreit wurde und Triest erst 1954. In der Aufführung werden der Mut und der Geist hervorgehoben, mit denen Triest und die Triestiner all das bewältigt haben, was der Lauf der Geschichte ihnen gegenübergebracht hat. Der berühmte Künstler erzählt zwischen Musik und Worten, unterstützt von audiovisuellen Materialien des regionalen Rai, die Emotionen und Gedanken des triestinischen Volkes in den Tagen vor dem 26. Oktober 1954, als Triest wieder mit Italien vereint wurde.
