Asolo Art Film Festival è il Festival del film sull’arte più antico al mondo.
La sia nascita risale al 1973. E’ una rassegna che indaga il rapporto tra il mondo dell’audiovisivo e l’arte. E’ un importante punto di riferimento per la qualità e l’originalità di opere provenienti da tutto il mondo. Quest’anno sono 500 i film giunti al concorso da oltre 70 paesi.
Le categorie presenti al concorso sono: Film sull’arte, Film d’arte, Antropica, Espressioni prime, Videoarte e Animazione. Molte le opere che presentano varie ibridazioni di genere ed elaborazioni di nuovi linguaggi. Al Teatro Duse di Asolo, dal 12 all'14 giugno saranno proiettati i film che sono stati selezionati e, ai più significativi di questi, saranno conferiti i vari premi del concorso.
Diverse le proiezioni fuori concorso al Teatro Duse e gli appuntamenti distribuiti nel centro storico: dall'apputamento a Villa Freya dedicato al rapporto tra arte e censura, alla mostra d'arte e dj set di Andy dei Bluvertigo nel giardino del Castello di Caterina Cornaro fino alle altre proiezioni, tra cui prime europee e mondiali, alle Sale Beltramini o sotto la Loggia della Ragione.
Vari altri eventi collaterali si susseguiranno nel corso del Festival, come il conferimento del Premio Duse a Lina Sastri.
Asolo Art Film Festival is the oldest art film festival in the world.
Its inception dates back to 1973. It is a showcase that explores the relationship between the world of audiovisuals and art. It is an important reference point for the quality and originality of works from all over the world. This year, there are 500 films entered into the competition from over 70 countries.
The categories in the competition are: Art Films, Art Documentaries, Anthropics, Prime Expressions, Video Art, and Animation. Many works present various genre hybridizations and developments of new languages. At the Duse Theatre in Asolo, from June 12 to 14, the films that have been selected will be screened, and the most significant of these will receive the various awards of the competition.
There will be several non-competitive screenings at the Duse Theatre and events distributed throughout the historic center: from the appointment at Villa Freya dedicated to the relationship between art and censorship, to the art exhibition and DJ set by Andy of Bluvertigo in the garden of the Castle of Caterina Cornaro, to other screenings, including European and world premieres, at the Beltramini Halls or under the Loggia della Ragione.
Various other collateral events will take place during the Festival, such as the conferral of the Duse Award to Lina Sastri.
Das Asolo Art Film Festival ist das älteste Kunstfilmfestival der Welt.
Seine Gründung geht auf das Jahr 1973 zurück. Es ist eine Veranstaltung, die die Beziehung zwischen der audiovisuellen Welt und der Kunst untersucht. Es ist ein wichtiger Bezugspunkt für die Qualität und Originalität von Werken aus der ganzen Welt. In diesem Jahr sind 500 Filme aus über 70 Ländern zum Wettbewerb eingereicht worden.
Die im Wettbewerb vertretenen Kategorien sind: Kunstfilm, Kunst-Film, Anthropik, Erste Ausdrucksformen, Video-Kunst und Animation. Viele der Werke zeigen verschiedene Genre-Hybriden und Entwicklungen neuer Sprachen. Im Teatro Duse in Asolo werden vom 12. bis 14. Juni die ausgewählten Filme projiziert, und die bedeutendsten dieser Filme werden mit den verschiedenen Preisen des Wettbewerbs ausgezeichnet.
Es gibt zahlreiche Wettbewerbs-freie Vorführungen im Teatro Duse und Veranstaltungen im historischen Zentrum: vom Termin in Villa Freya, der der Beziehung zwischen Kunst und Zensur gewidmet ist, über die Kunstausstellung und DJ-Set von Andy der Bluvertigo im Garten von Schloss Caterina Cornaro bis zu weiteren Vorführungen, darunter europäische und weltweite Premieren, in den Sale Beltramini oder unter der Loggia della Ragione.
Viele andere begleitende Veranstaltungen werden während des Festivals stattfinden, wie die Verleihung des Duse-Preises an Lina Sastri.
